You must go with physical therapy because it really helps to prevent or treat plagiocephaly and help the baby to move in a better way in all his members. The torticollis affect also the shoulders and the hips and only your physical therapist can evaluate and treat that. With my daugther, we try exercices at home but her hip had restricted movements so to strectch only the neck didn't help...
My wife and I have a baby boy who is a bit over two months now and we were just told he had Torticolis. Have you had success with any treatments? We have been doing the neck stretching therapy at home so far.
@DVert81 yup. sure have. she only did one day of physical therapy because we had to move. but i continued doing the stretches and exercises with her & she is improving greatly on her own. but i still plan on getting her back in just to make sure i'm doing the right things. just waiting on medical cards. but good luck with your little one. hope he does good!
@ZOMBiEGORLiE my infant (3 months old next week) has the identical thing as your daughter. I'm curious how your daughter is doing these days. Is she improving? did she have to get a helmet?
you should SERIOUSLY consider seeing a chiropractor, especially one that specicializes in children.
