I teach special education in the Bronx, and I think that my job is easier than that of the poor teachers at Bronx Science. They've tolerated a lot of abuse, and it's simply not fair. Hey, Bronx Science teachers, you have at least one big fan over here. Please don't give up.

I feel this this highly correlates with the increasing deficit in math grades. Most of my friends are doing horrible in the math classes they are in, and these are very smart and capable people who shouldnt and wouldnt (i believe) be performing so poorly if certain things changed. not only does there need to be less students per class but, i really dont understand why we had so many teachers who were experiencing their first year of teaching last year, arent there any job qualifications anymore?
