  • racism is hate agianst the only race there is. The human race. skin color is not race, nor is where you born at that is not race, eye size is neither a form of race. In order to get rid of so called racism we have to quit using the word racism for the fact w are all humans and nothing else more or less thenthat if we weren't humans then we could actually call one a racist for the fact that we are not human :O))

  • That would be nice if it could be like that but the fact is that we live in a world where there are actually people calling death threats on Obama cause they dont want a so called nigger in the white house...changing the words doesnt change the reality

  • Did you notice the Date of the Interview all the way back in 2005. Where was McCain in the Debate this year that Tavis Held? I don't believe he had the respect to show up. I could be wrong, but Ron Paul was one of the ONLY republicans to show from what I remember. Sad the McCain Camp has to go all the way back to 2005

  • What kind of answer is that? Answer: the racist kind!

  • I listened with an open mind but didn't get it. John had a decent response and even showed admiration

  • My assertion is not based on his answer to Tavis Smiley about race relation. My comment is based on Mcain's actions. For instance he voted against establishing MLK day as a Holiday! That's just one example. I understand perfectly and respect why you think that he was honest about his answers but to me people's action speak louder than words. Thanks for your comment :-D

  • Amen to that and McCain's action of voting against that holiday even though no White person in America that is not completely ignorant and/or stupid and/or crazy does not know how much Blacks love and respect MLK. McCain is neither ignorant nor stupid nor crazy so that means he knew how Blacks felt about MLK and voted against the holiday anyway. If that is not prejudice or racism I do not know what is and I am too darned old not to know. Trust me on that.

  • I believe mlk himself would have voted a holiday celebrating himself simply because he knew God was and will always be greater then himself.
