  • Best Radiohead song, fucking sad

  • the perfection of music art.

  • Thom looks like an angel with his long blonde hair, his face so sweet... and damn, what a fuckin' voice!

    This guy is unreal!

  • Fake ;-)

  • the bend at 2:25 is ethereal, jesus

  • ese tema es demasiado bueno...aunque me deprime T_T

  • RadioHead takes me to another level.

  • RadioHeaad takes me to another level. Its like a drug.

  • If I could be who you wanted

    All the time...

This makes me want to cry very hard...

  • @MrNickMMM This means that you are still human. Lucky you.

  • Thom and his voice are both gorgeous.

  • This is just amazing....I'm speechless. Thank you for sharing this!

  • 2:24 Eargasm

  • so nice!!!

  • it wears me out...

  • Quality Song, Performance and Band

  • i love them

  • RadioHead ia a great industrial band,Muse try so hard to copy them!

  • 3:30

  • shitty day... actually... shitty life.. but a beauty like this is a little relief.....

  • @mxl812 Shitty life ? Listen to " No Surprises " instead of " Fake Plastic Trees ". This song is for people who are sick of their life but still have hope

  • I love that jonny used to look like a ramone

  • I'd give EVERYTHING, ANYTHING to be in this concert. I was 4 when they did this =(

  • Absolutely no difference between the live version and the studio one. Only Radiohed can do this!

  • @Progressiveownsall Actually this version is different, if you listen to the electric guitar line it is more textural, with a Tele-country-ish feel.

  • @GwynforLwyd

    But both are kick-ass, aren't they? :D

  • @Progressiveownsall I hear a huge difference. The leads aren't the same, and the band comes in on the first verse.. among other variations.

  • the best version of this song is played on Mist of Avalon, in 98`

  • Great version, and i agree, the solo is WOW !

  • jhony- solo - wOw

  • I love this song. I love Radiohead. But i prefer it alot slower than this version.

  • DEVASTATING INSIDE..

  • seems like this is first time of Fake plastic trees being played,,, nobodys singing with thom,,,,freaking amazing performance!

  • they're probably just mezmerized

  • no it really was the first time it was played haha before The Bends was even released.

  • this performance is before The Bends was released, so it really is the first time the crowd is hearing it

  • radiohead was amazingat there!

  • Good stuff but it looks like yorke combed his hair with a porkchop that day....

  • Fucking. Amazing. <3

  • I have to say that this is the best live version of Fake Plastic Trees.

  • Totally disagree, the best version is the acoustic version with just Yorke and Greenwood

  • uhm... If Thom and Jonny had played this song at Reservoir... That could might have been the best version. U might be talking about the version that was posted by elemilex. i think that version is better than this one, though, i love this concert. i own this dvd. it rocks! :) tks RH!

  • es lo mejor british power

  • British power ! we rule the music world !

    Simply Talented & sexy !

  • omg it was a fortnight and two crabshits after my birthday!

  • Hahahahaha!!! I guess people don't like your sense of humour (which I love)

  • 1 week :P:P:P:P after mine

  • jesus... haunting

  • The drums, bass and guitar backgrounds entry is, almost, best than original...

  • greenwood is amazing!

  • perhaps best radiohead lyrics

  • Great song, great gig! And it's recorded on my birthday! :D

  • o my god this was recorded the day after my birthday!

  • OMG! this was recorded 16 days after my birthday!

  • nooo it's out off synch:( it makes me crazy:P great song though!

  • I so hope that they play this at Reading

  • One of Radiohead's best song!

  • sheesh i love Thom's hair. it's hot.

  • thom broke into tears after recording the vocals to this song, i almost burst when i hear it, its fucking unexplainable

  • why did he break into tears and how do you know this?

  • i dont really remember how i heard, but the story goes like this, he was frustrated with the way fans and media etc. where still stuck on creep, and just the lyrics themself tell how he was feeling at the time, not to mention how he felt about the way the enviromental problems where being handled, basically he was on the edge of giving up on all

  • nah its about boob jobs....."he used to surgeries on girls in the 80's but gravity always wins"

  • @tony920226 lol

  • @tony920226 lol

  • to epicly go to a new level of awsome. where no fuck'n person will go again.

i wish i was at this show.

  • luv this song!!

  • さいこー!!

  • Amazing vocals...

  • I like the e guitare end end of the song at this live performance.

  • This song captivates a place that we all reside within, a somewhat parallel universe of the bitter, true reality of what's underneath the surface of our very existence..."She looks like the real thing, She tastes like the real thing...My fake plastic Love" And sometimes it's easier to pretend.

  • get the dvd its top !the best 1 they have done id say think ill watch it again now. . . . we want more live radiohead please

  • lol, if you have the DVD then why are you watching it on here?

  • that stuff jonny is doing in the verses sounds so awesome!

  • the tempo is normal @_@

  • it's an early version

  • gracias, locoo!! que bueno de verdad ,negra te quierooooooooooooooo

  • trewlykewl i wont ansewr it

  • 1 of the bands that never suck at live performance.

  • @kasou01 watch "anyone can play guitar" at the MTV beach house and you'll change your mind. The problems begin at 2:10.

  • @kasou01 As well as Coldplay <3

  • very nice

  • no body is ansering my Q

  • No, he wasn't.

  • simply amazing

i love every live version because greenwoods solos constantly become more and more creative and authentic

  • somebody ansewr my Q

  • No one understands it.

  • simply cannot compare to the glastonbury 03 version. still alright though.

  • hahhaa, i watched that one per your recommendation, and i couldn't see what you were talking about, and then it just EXPLODES into the third verse and i realized... yeah. good call.

  • yes

  • 1994?

  • was he scared to play this song at festival are was he in the rock momet

  • nah I think they loose the emotion of this song with this way of performing it, just comes across as lackluster especially compared to the slow build and release of later years.

  • What's Canary Wharf? Or did I hear wrong? :D

  • You heard right. It was a business and shopping district in London and it landscaped with a lot of artificial plants. That could be where the title came from. Amazing song. :D

  • Ahhh, I never got that before. Thanks

  • You heard it correctly. At least part of this is a song about an area in east London called Canary Wharf. It is a business district built on unused wasteland by the docks of the Thames. In the 1990s a market downturn stalled it's construction. The Canary Wharf was landscaped with mostly artificial plants, which is where "Fake Plastic Trees" comes from.

  • wow...just wow! :)

  • hmm, but by the time they played this song, they had already played creep. guess they like creep a lot.

but i agree this song sounds much better.

  • Can you hear someone saying "C'mon Thom, play Creep" at the start? Or is that just what I want to hear?

  • nah i hrd tht lol

  • The Creep superfans were major A-Holes. I'm glad Radiohead cut back on it.

  • @stratman202 yeah like that stupid drunk person thats always blocking your view at the shows.......

  • @stratman202 I still love that song because itgot me into Radiohead, definetley not their best song.

  • OEE I have this dvd :D It's amazing, go buy it if you like rh.

  • i do and i already hv it way hay :P lol its brilliant i watched it 4 about 5hrs straight maybe more it was tht gd

  • i thought bout buying it....but y buy it if i can just watch it on youtube :/

  • theres been much much better versions,, some of the songs they played at astoria were mind-blowing though.

  • i agree. the glastonbury '03 is better imo... but this gig (astoria) is amazing.

  • i loved this but i definetly agree, glastonbury 03 version of this is amazing i uploaded the video onto my ipod
