  • thanks for posting!

  • Too bad he had a breakdown and moved away from the OK Computer direction, Kid A was one of the forks in the road, one can only think about what Radiohead would become if they continued to evolve their "The Bends" sound which culminated in OK Computer, maybe they would be bigger and better, maybe they would fall in obscurity, who knows? I for one kind of feel sad for the music we never got because Thom decided to drop the guitar and pick up the computer (ironically).

    Radiohead is very interesting

  • @LaughingUltros I don't think it's bad, Kid A was way better than OK Computer and The Bends. Without Kid A we wouldn't have In Rainbows, Hail to the Thief, ect. or it would be very different sounding.

  • Is all the footage from 1997?

  • @lukerr87 1997 and 1998 I think

  • i need that ballad version of paranoid android!!!! it's so beautiful!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • whats the song at the end?

  • @jeepfunkymonk lucky

  • Wow!!!

  • Which concert is that version of Paranoid Android from?

  • sounds like a song by chrome

  • Paranoid Android is a great song in its entirety, but I have to say the last part of the song where Thom is singing "Rain down" is one of the greatest moments in all of music history. It is so haunting and it gives me goosebumps just thinking about it. *shudders*

  • CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHERE I CAN GET THAT MELLOW VERSION OF 'PARANOID ANDROID' AT 4.01? PLEASE!!!

  • @spencerkeegan I desperately need to find this version of the song too. (sorry for not giving you the answer, please don't kill me, lol)

  • thom yorke is a fuckin genius

  • the beginning feels like you're being ferried across the Styx into Hell...

  • "I'm not here and this is not happening"

  • @thomthum2000 Oh my god! Me too! btw sorry for the slightly late reply :)

  • People say Radiohead are depressing, on the contrary, i think they're the most uplifting and life-affirming band out there!!!!

  • @budwhite1 They have plenty of depressing music. They got me through with there music when i was going through a very rough patch in my life. I didn't feel alone and that's what mattered.

  • @Nobodie92 gud to knw.

  • @kmph59 I was replying to someones comment saying that some people see that radioheads music isn't depressing, but uplifting.

  • @budwhite1 well said buddy!

  • dude if you have stage fright some drugs are perfect medication

  • hahahaha starts like half Life

  • @iura1790

lol yeah it does.. i remember playing that game. I always got stuck at one part :(

  • @iura1790 Jonny Greewood loves half life!!!!!!!!!!!! AFGAGHGAgsdg

  • @iura1790 hahaha u're right. .... :P

  • was thom yorke on extecy in that performance i saw him chewing his jaw

  • I actually really like radiohead and thome yorke especially i just thourght he could have been on extascy.

  • Perhaps, but he is probably also one of the greatest musicians who ever lived.

  • @USFISTER

we all know here you talk about yourself.

  • If he's unable to relate to normal people how come he's part responsible for highly emotive music?

  • wtf

amazing how people can roll from one emotion into another

their life is hard, but you can see they feel better the moment they're on stage

  • 5:32 makes me shiver

  • Fitter Happier is a creepy sad tune about plagism

  • whats plagism?

  • plagism is when everything is perfect and every day is the same with the same rutine

  • no its not.

  • yes it is :S About how the world has become after plagism

  • i though nosurprises was about that plagism "a job that slowly kills you"

  • Comment removed

  • @TheRishiGirl i dont entirely agree with you. fitter happier is about someone being manipulated to believe that everything around them is right (the electronic voice etc). no surprises is almost about him understanding why he feels the way he does, and being happy with his reasons. im not bashing, its just an excuse for me to waffle on about radiohead :P i suppose you could just read so much into their lyrics :)

  • Comment removed

  • @TheRishiGirl while that is true.. "a HANDSHAKE with carbon monoxide." I never said that the protagonist was happy with his life, i said he was happy with his reasons why he was feeling the way he was. anyway, radiohead lyrics are very open to multiple interpretations, thom said it himself.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheRishiGirl if i try to give you my uninvited interprepretation; to me, what she said what he said, means that you come to terms with why you feel what you feel, when you don't make yourself feel something because someone else is feeling it and/or wants to make you feel "it", even if it's your own ego. You just feel it, be it "good" or "bad". cause what appears good, can slip into it's opposite and vice versa...with or without your help....people have different & numerous senses...:)

  • Comment removed

  • @TheRishiGirl He may not be "happy", but he (the protagonist) is definitely too apathetic to risk change. The ultimate irony is when he sings "bring down the Government" in a monotone... cos the listener knows he has no chance/intention of doing any such thing.

  • Comment removed

  • fitter happier is not about plagism...the song doeasn't speak about "ordinary life" or anything like it.

  • i'm on a roll.... i'm on a roll...

  • whys everyone saying paranoid android? did i miss the memo? :PPP

    Radiohead - No Surprises (L)(L)

  • Fantastic. Thanks for uploading.

  • Paranoid Android

Probably one of the greatest songs ever

  • You can say me the name of the song of the 4:35 please

  • It's Paranoid Android

  • Thanks

    :D

    I like It

  • It's IMPOSSIBLE u can't recognize Paranoid Android!!!!!!!!!!!

  • paranoid android

  • Paranoid Android

  • paranoid android

  • Paranoid Android

  • 5:40 ... thom y jonny se toman de sus manos.

  • radiohead is god on earth. Its stupid to compare anyone to them.

  • Radiohead are really difficult to compare to other bands, Elbow I think would be the closest I know.

  • im sorry what i meant to say was MUSE IS A PIECE OF SHIT radiohead isn't is that better? lol

  • THANK YOU!

  • why the fuck do people compare muse to radiohead its like comparing the beatles to britney spears muse being spears

  • Comment removed

  • it is rediculous to keep bringing up muse.

  • i love it when at the beginning when someone says "just read it!" and colin says "leave me alone!" idk y but it made me happy. love them to deathhhhh.

  • jonnyy :)<3

  • meeting people is easy... but who has time for them?

  • Radiohead hates progressive rock...

  • I wonder if they like tool....

  • It annoys me when people say they don't like a particular genre of music. Within nearly all genres of music there is good and bad and to dismiss one of them is prejudice. It seems that judgement is all to do with what's "cool" rather than what's good or bad.

  • good comment

everyone who knows music knows that good music is good music...genres are simply just terms used to describe the sound of that particular music!

  • Comment removed

  • but if you havent heard anything you enjoy from that particular genre, it isnt prejudice really, just ignorance haha

  • genres are just stupid labels put forward by lazy journalists who dont want to have to think of anything else to describe music with.

  • the corporations being all corporationy?

  • yeah agreed totally... but in all honesty i hate the music industry, where bands like radiohead i had to find on the internet because it isnt cool enough to be mainstream, yet songs that are utter rot are... mainstream media annoys me in general really...

  • Comment removed

  • I just love "Lucky".

  • It's one of my fav song too.

I can't understand, what is she saying at 02:42 ?

    You're not saying it ??

    Can someone help me undestand?

  • im not saying anything else.... thats what i think she says

  • Thanks so much for posting this video. This is hard to find unless you buy it online.

  • when they're warming up their voices is so funny!

  • I find it rather horrifying...

  • i see the first concert was in spain becouse of the old green "telefonica" phone in the back stage.

and i can see tom jaw's doing that thing you do

c o c a , so he started the thing out with the input of our "direct from southamerican best", but let me say with the very best liltle chewing is involved.

to the point first show looks like spain madrid or barcelona.

  • Does Telefonica exists nowadays?

In my country, it changed to "Movistar"...

  • movistar is the celular, movile, thst kind of stuff division,so most probably is what telefonica offer in your country in mine have both.

  • 8:30-8:40

Sucks that they all hate progressive rock. I personally believe Radiohead to be a part of the progressive rock movement, due to their complex song structures and their thought-provoking lyrical material. The only thing missing is the gargantuan length, which I know they try to stray away from.

  • ah, but you forget it's stupendously uncool to even admit that there was anything good in progressive-rock. it's called conditioning of then, 20 years of british music press.

krautrock, on the other hand, is "cool".

  • mastodon's new album is prog metal and maybe the most interesting recording so far this year.

king crimson were as as prog as it gets and radiohead took notes.

    lots of notes.

  • King Crimson was dope. Robert F. the man.

  • it's so sweet when they are in the stares at 5:35 and Jonny put his hand on Thom's shoulder and Thom touches Jonny's arm. Like if Jonny said: don't worry, everything gonna be fine. I'm there. Very touching!

  • Something weird just happened now:

As I started to watch this doc I was thinking of my Radiohead t-shirt that I couldn't seem to find. I went to the restroom (I live in a coed dorm, by the way) and a girl was asking me if I like Radiohead. She asked because she said that she might have my shirt! Awkward! She tried to explain how there was a mixup in the laundry room. I told her I was actually thinking of that shirt a couple minutes ago, which made it more awkward. I'm totally freaking out!

  • @thomthum2000 she's a keeper

  • @thomthum2000 you must be stoned out of your head.

  • @RighteousLac HAHAHAHAHAHA I WATCHED THIS. AND I FOUND YOU. I FOUND YOU. I FUCKING FOUND YOU.

  • the beginning reminds me of taking the train to San Francisco airport

  • the train is in Narita airport, Japan.

  • jesus christ, 5:50 is terrifying. imagine knowing youve got to walk out onto stage and perform in front of thousands of people, and theres no way of backing out of it

  • Nah, that's the best part of the job, the whole reason bands put up with the bullshit.

  • RCHO Can't hold a candle to Radiohead

  • Thom hates rock.

  • radiohead are the like the beatles except still making great new records

  • i love how thom yorke really exploits how he hates the robotic life of the suburban population

  • FINALLY they dont have this on netflix or anywhere!

  • Gives me chills every time...

  • THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING THIS.

i've been wanting to see it, because i can't find it anywhere, and even if i did, my parents would prohibit me of buying it.

  • why?

  • because my parents are freaks

  • Mine wouldn't let me either...

  • wow, is your account name 'Sigur Ros' in english? i love that band!

i also saw Funky Monks, the RHCP used to be my favorite band...

it's weird how you find people so similar to you over the internet =P

  • Yeah, it's Sigur Ros in english. I love them. :) RHCP is a former favorite band. I tend to listen to bands really obsessively for long periods of time. I seem to be lapsing in and out of the Radiohead phase. Maybe it's never going away. That would be nice.

  • are you my alter-ego, or is it just normal for former RHCP fans to start liking Sigur Ros and Radiohead??

don't tell me you also like reading Russian novels, because that would be really weird

  • Nope, don't like Russian novels. :)

I think Radiohead to Sigur Ros is a common progression, but I don't know of too many former RHCP fans start liking Radiohead. I don't know of very many intense music fans, though, so I might be wrong...

  • I was always a huge RHCP and a huge Radiohead fan.

They're both great bands, but you have to realize that one is the most talented, and revolutionary, and probably strangest bands...ever.

    But it happens. Sometimes.

  • Yeah, I definitely know Radiohead has more... musical value, shall we say? But I'm still very attached to RHCP. They're actually all very talented, except for Anthony... But Radiohead is better.

  • Anthony has a pretty unique voice...but I've always thought that he got very lucky.

But of course. Radiohead is better.

  • Not trying to be a creeper here...

Former RHCP fan, now Radiohead and Sigurs Ros

Currently learning Russian and reading Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Turganev, Lermontov, etc, etc...

  • good for you, seriously.

  • RHCP strange?

also, how ever would sigur ros be a following to radiohead?

  • No, "most talented, and revolutionary, and probably strangest bands...ever."

That's for Radiohead. Duno about the Sigur Ros comparison, that wasn't me.

  • Sigur Ros comparison is legit. That's how I got into Sigur Ros; I had to listen to myself. Musically, they are different, but the beauty of their art is on equal par. And no, I don't think Muse or Coldplay stands .123123912387 a chance to either two.

  • muse fucking SUCKS!

don't compare them to radiohead, it's fucking scandalous

  • muse are a different type of band witha completely different audience it doesnt make any sense to compare them to radiohead... but i dont mind them...

  • Muse is a gimmick.....

  • yep, bands come and go but radiohead remain my favourite, like a base, i always go back to them. and they don't get boring, i've listened to the same albums for a 2 weeks every 3 months for 3 years and i still enjoy everything aout it and STILL find new things to love. they are the greatest band in history. and don't debate that, it's my opinion. PEACE.

  • that is exactly how i feel about them. i go through little phases of groups like with the shins and beck, but radiohead i always seem to come back to no matter what.

  • Alot of people think 'The Filth and Fury' is the best film ever made about music. It doesn't hold a candle to this, i don't know why it isn't more popular.

  • yeah this is good. but the best music doc is funky monks.

and its on youtube as well

  • I love Funky Monks, but it makes me sad to think of what happened afterward. And I don't know if it's better than this. I haven't seen many music documentaries, though.

  • Hey, look... it's one thing to be the guy who asks a set of questions only once. It's another thing to be asked that exact set of questions a million times over. And you all know that Radiohead is by no means a "sell-out" band. So it is by no means their obligation to answer the same questions a million times over. It's their obligation to be the best that they can. No one should be pelted with all of those questions.

  • I really love Radiohead. I have all their albums and listen to them all the time. But come on. They're being payed millions of dollars to make music. Maybe its their upbring or whatever but they really come off a bit like assholes here. Answer the fucking questions. These people have a job to and its a lot shittier than yours.

  • i duno, its easy to say that, but during this they were under immense pressure the whole time and really didnt enjoy wot they were doing. being labelled the best group oin the world meant their was pressure for all their performances, on stage and in interviews aswell

  • Thanks for putting this up.

  • this is what youtube is for. yeehaw

  • This documentary is depressing.

    I love it.

  • Thanks for the post...does anyone know where I might find the version of the "rain down" part from Paranoid Android that starts at 4:01?

Could it be a rare demo?

  • Most likely. I'm looking for it to. Try a torrent sight. Some good demo collections floating around on them. If i find it ill tell you were to get it.

  • You're ( A L L ) welcome.

  • wow...just to reiterate all these other comments: thanks!!!

  • wow.. its up... finally.. last time i checked was last year. zedetnik you have done a good thing.

I watched it before it was available on youtube on some really obscure website. I had to go throug a bunch of downloads to get it... very, very time consuming.

    Thank you!

  • first time i saw this i was on such strong lsd, it mangled my brain!! lol

  • zedetnik you never disapoint. i've tried downloading this and it never comes out right.

  • thanks for posting this. i can't belive they even bothered with the press. their ok computer tour nearly killed them.

  • why do they hate progressive rock?

  • because they couldn't find good progressiv rock bands :-)

I got that from the book Exit Music (a book about radiohead. you should read it, it's realy good!!!)

  • FINALLY

    THANKS SO MUCH ZED

  • zedetnik-- Thanks a lot for putting this up. really. now somebody needs to upload i am trying to break your heart....

  • Thank you so very, very much for putting this up Bro. Seriously YOU ARE GREAT !!!

  • thank you so so so much for putting this up i have been waiting for so long for someone to do it, i used to own it and lost it thanks a lot!

  • Can Thom close his faulty eye?

  • Yes.

  • but can only enlarge it and move it to a certain point.

  • It is "sung" by the default voice for MacinTalk Pro, spoken text software on Apple Computer's Power Macintosh
