He's more of "IIT - JEE coaching teacher" than a "Physics Professor". Attended his lecture last year here at IIT-KGP, too kiddish, boring and unoriginal, just like his book.
he has copied questions from Resnik, BnJ and Iridov. Some of his mechanics questions are wrongly framed too ! . Rotation is a good chapter. Overall he is not that great , but he has written a decent book
His book is available in almost every house of India. At least those houses where studs are preparing for engineering examinations. The first day you enter your Physics class after 10th you see his book. This is the story with most students in India.

try downloading saraeva and kosel, not as hard as irodov, but are a greeeeat start, they're not hard to find, i don't know why i haven't seen them in any iit sites
