It was intended to be on GN'R's 1996 album to come out early 1997. slash worked on sone music which GN'R wasn't keen about so slash did Snakepit with that music.Came back to GN'R and was doing the riffs to this song but when slash quit Axl had no problems with slash taking the riffs and later down the road it was finished by VR.There was a Rolling Stone article about this song and it was intended for GN'R.

That's what I thought but Rolling Stone did an article abiut this song recently and I read it that this song was intened for a GN'R song and slash was working on the riffs to it in mid 1990's to go the album that GN'R had started with 7 tracks of Zakk on it which is now The Lost Album Of 1996. Axl was cool about it and left slash take his song with him.Axl and slash were still talking after that and Axl asked slash to come back in 1997 to finish the album and move on to the next, slash said no.
