@GdoubleWB I couldn't agree with you more. I find her so disingenuous I can hardly listen to her. Her breast cancer was caught early, lucky for her. She had surgery (a lumpectomy) and radiation therapy, which cured her. As far as "chemo sensitivity testing" it's not well regarded to work. Why? Because there are major differences between an isolated collection of tumor cells in the lab and the actual biological condition of the cancer in a living patient. Sommers is trying to be controversial.

@davehutchinson67 The cancer treatment she DID get cured her. If she had accepted the chemotherapy it would have only improved her chances for a cure by 10-15 per cent. Many women choose NOT to have chemo simply because it doesn't change the outcome by that much.
How many people die from chemotherapy. I know 2 people who died; immediately when they started chemotherapy; the cancer didn`t kill them; the chemotherapy immediately caused their deaths; ther should be a study released that showing this;

How can she be diagnosed with "full body cancer" at one point and then with early stage cancer in another? I'm sorry...what is full body cancer? Is she saying that she had stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer? Or is she saying she was "misdiagnosed" by someone saying she was Stage 4 but she was really only stage 1? @MorwenMcGregor She had breast cancer originally and took a non-chem/radiation route and healed. 10 years later (present day) she went to the hospital and six different doctors on six different days told her that she has full body cancer and that it has spread across her entire body. On the last day the doctors did a surgery and realized that there were incorrect... it was something else. So it was a mis-diagnosis.
@MorwenMcGregor If cancer gets into your lymph nodes or some other parts of your body, it can spread literally, everywhere. Also, if you do get cancer, the worst thing you can do is let them do a biopsy...that is just asking for it to spread.

It's a fact that the federal reserve finances the politicians, the education institutions, the media and the medical institutions. The majority of our funding comes from the gov. via NIH grants, as well as private non-profit org.; however, these grants are extremely competitive and involve careful planning and ridiculous amounts of preliminary results for proof of concept. Research currency isn't money...it's publications.

Our friend almost got his hand amputated until he phoned us and we told him to run out of the hospital - he went to another hospital and they saved his hand by pumping him with antibiotics. During SARS, I couldn't get to my husband and they gave him a spinal tap - he didn't need it!

She had surgery (a lumpectomy) and radiation therapy, which cured her. As far as "chemo sensitivity testing" it's not well regarded to work. Why? Because there are major differences between an isolated collection of tumor cells in the lab and the actual biological condition of the cancer in a living patient. Sommers is trying to be controversial.

On the last day the doctors did a surgery and realized that there were incorrect... it was something else. So it was a mis-diagnosis.

One of these doctors in Nevada charges $150. for a 15 minute consultation.
That does not include a special blood test he requires at $250. and other treatments you many need at $??...and the expense of traveling to Nevada and staying either at his clinic or a hotel. High doses of probiotics actually made my symptoms worse, so I stopped taking them. Perhaps that's not the way to go but it works better for me. The best thing I've found that works for me is SF722, which contains undecylenic acid that's derived from castor beans. It's similar to caprylic acid but better. It is the best thing I've found in the past 2 years although not a cure. I also can't guarantee it will work as well for others, at least that's what I'm discovering about everthing.

I haven't read her book but I have seen her interviews explaining. Suzanne Somers deserves alot of credit. She's not lying that she had cancer/ she was misdiagnosed as having full body cancer/ what she had was breast cancer. She also took radiation for it. She also isn't against chemo completely, just giving infomation alot of us don't have. I didn't know about the chemo sensitivity test. She's very brave to stand up to the attacks. Thank you Suzanne!

Here's a woman with extensive plastic surgery whose abusing HGH, estrogen and projesterone (which will probably lead to her giving herself uterine cancer) trying to knock the the medical community to sell a book. This woman is dangerous and should not be listened to.
And for the record, there will never be a magic bullet to treat cancer...successes will come in the form of monoclonal antibodies (look for "drugs" names ending in "mab") and small molecule inhibitors (drugs ending in "nib").

She's great. When you take on the status quo you better get ready to duck. Cuz they will be gunning for you! It seems odd to me that when someone goes on Chemo and then dies a few months later it's never questioned if that was the right thing to do. It's just well they were too far along and it was too late for them. My best friend recently lost her brother to Cancer he fought hard to live. His insurance spent $450K+. He got the best chemo treatment he could find. After all that died 6 mo later

The medical institutions are just like every other business in this country. It's a fact that the federal reserve finances the politicians, the education institutions, the media and the medical institutions. In case you haven't noticed, business in this country only cares about profit, not human quality. Hospitals need people to be ill & law enforcement needs crime in order to maintain profit which is what this is all about. we will never get any better unless we see past society's manipulation.

@djda99 It's sad that you feels this way...truth is the academic research community (which I believe you're referring to when you say "medical institutions") is by no means a profit based institution. The majority of our funding comes from the gov. via NIH grants, as well as private non-profit org.; however, these grants are extremely competitive and involve careful planning and ridiculous amounts of preliminary results for proof of concept. Research currency isn't money...it's publications.

The insurance companies get there share & continue to deny people in need. There's more people in need every year. The top 1% now own more than the bottom 95% combined because the federal reserve unconstitutionally took over in 1913, this entire country has become a business.

I don't understand how people are afraid of "socialized" healthcare (for the people) when our current Capitalist healthcare (for profit) spreads our money, as well; but also wastes our money for marketing and ridiculous executive salaries and bonuses.
And these Celeb "miracle" therapies are no different...offering false hope for a quick buck. All her "natural cures" are just antioxidents and vitamins. No profound effect on cancers.

In this 21st Century, don't you think they can do better than cut something out of you or push toxic chemicals into your blood? (the nurses have to wear gloves to make sure they don't get the chemicals on their skin because it'll burn them) wake up dude! there have been cancer cures for decades!

cont'd. I had heart pain and went to a hospital and they right off offered me a spinal tap - when I questioned this he gave me a filthy look. I looked at my husband and he shook his head - we left the hospital and guess what - I didn't need a spinal tap either!!! I walked out saw my GP later on and it was nothing, I just stressed myself. Be your own advocate - you will probably save your own life!

I chose to share my own experiences with certain doctors here on YT and when you open up that can of worms, people share their own stories and that's how we learn from each other. You simply can't judge PROPERLY unless you've walked in that person's shoes.

cont'd. I have heard so many complaints and horror stories about doctors, I am totally defensive whenever I see a new doctor. And other doctors defend other doctors mistakes and don't want to hear your take on them. Our friend almost got his hand amputated until he phoned us and we told him to run out of the hospital - he went to another hospital and they saved his hand by pumping him with antibiotics. During SARS, I couldn't get to my husband and they gave him a spinal tap - he didn't need it!

I choose to at least listen to what Suzanne has to say and I have never heard of a chemo test til now - so she is brave to bring attention to this sensitive subject. I can look past the Hollywood persona. I have had SO MANY BAD experiences with doctors I am totally jaded, do not trust them, and QUESTION every thing they say. I will not leave a family member unattended in a hospital due to crappy medical care in the past. Doctors are not perfect and they are not GOD - they are human.

I have had a few bad diagnoses with doctors which were unfounded--but that doesn't mean I'm going to start taking medical advice from an actress who has never even been to college--much less med school.

I have just recently found that parasites and yeast have proven to be THE cause of MANY illnesses including some cancer. Killing these parasites are detrimental in healing. Our ancestors practiced herbal remedies before the early 1900's. Then pharmiceutical companies took over medicine.

What is your definition of hogwash? And what is "the casting coach?" And what is a book "sighning?" Did you mean book signing? I'd probably respect your opinion a bit more if you could SPELL, and make sense. And though I haven't read the book yet, I HAVE read her previous book which was very well written (not only that but all the words were spelled correctly!). She is utterly qualified as a writer. PLUS, she is a CANCER SURVIVOR! That also makes her qualified to write about the subject.
