@CamaroFender I just watched KWS play one on the video before this, he played it well, but it still sounded cheap. The singer is playing one, and it is noticeably flatter than Kenny. I find it hard to believe that they would make it sound that way on purpose.

The tragedy is that Kenny never picked up Noah's side project drummer, Todd Knapke. He's a ridiculously talented drummer that could easily keep up and compliment KWS while enhancing songs without showing off.

@FlorianDhoudain In the past, KWS has used an Octavia pedal, like Hendrix and SRV. An Octavia is a fuzz pedal that adds an octave above doubling. There are other clones now, but the Roger Mayer Octavia was the original and that's what KWS has used in the past. Google for KWS and Octavia and you can see his what I mean.

@FlorianDhoudain From what I've seen of his rig in magazines and online, I can't say that I agree with you about the harmonizer, but definitely a fuzz was used. It could be a fuzz face circuit with a Transistor Bias control for that Sputtery/ Velcro sound that sometimes sounds like a Harmonizer.

@FlorianDhoudain That guy that answered you just now sounds about right to me. An octave fuzz has a very snotty sound, and responds different to the different pickups you select. It likes to be used with a neck pickup.
