I'm 5 1/2 months right now and as of like 3 days ago my lower back has been KILLING me when I sleep. I made my bed firmer but now the only time I can get my back NOT to hurt is when I lay directly on it, which I know is a big no no. Laying on my side just hurts so bad. I'm probably going to try the first position you showed (it looks super comfy) but you don't look that reclined--more laying on your back then anything. Just want to make sure it's still okay to do before I get into habit. :)
Saviour! i am in my last trimester and i am due to have my home birth in 1 week ( yes Christmas Day!) and the past few nights i have been sleeping 6-7 hours then waking up and not getting back off to sleep. Now i will be able to sleep and feel like i am on my stomach! ( can't sleep properly without being on my stomach)

@seyness it could be that maybe ur moving to quick for ur body to keep up. i know if i turn to quick i get a sharp pain the dr assures me the baby is ok u just have to move much slower or deal with the pain
@seyness1 talk to your doctor or midwife but it sounds like @charlenenaugain 's advise below is good - slower movement and breathing to relax and ease any discomfort you are having. congrats on your pregnancy. :) hope you are catching some zzzzzzzzzzzzz's. :) -Suzanne Tucker
I have all the pillows in the world, but I just can't sleep at night (nor during the day). I can't find a comfortable position. When I'm sleeping on my side, it hurts and I feel like I'm squeezing those poor babies inside me. (I'm expecting twins. I'm 27th weeks). Sleeping on my back (as shown in the first example), makes me breathe harder. I can also forget about sleeping on my stomach. I'm in despair. Lately, I've been sleeping max 2 hours per night. Any more tips?
@speratum seems to me it's more a matter of being worried about causing some damage to your babies than anything else. They're safe where they are, feel flree to sleep on either side, nothing's gonna happen to them
@speratum get help locally. work with a good PT or chiropractor and get some much needed sleep. work with pillows - recliner - other props. avoid your back - even propped w pillows it's hard to breath that way w twins after 27 weeks...
i dont know why this video made me laugh ,,love that you totally understand the misserableness in tryin to sleep thanks for the ideas and now i know i aint trippin
I am pregnant with baby #2. With my daughter I was always on my left side lol
This time I am on my belly [ its a boy! ] I love sleeping on my belly. So I have a pillow in between my legs one under my belly and I sleep that way. Sometimes only a pillow between the legs
I also sleep with a pillow under my feet - one under my belly - between my legs and holding on to sleep on my side
yay! glad it's helping and thank you for all the kind feedback. If you like these tips, check out my site for moms for lots more :). videos and posts - practical and inspiring. BLESSING on your pregnancies!!!
Thanks you I can't tell you how I've suffered over the last 2 weeks with insomnia @ 32 weeks I was experiencing some anxiety and couldn't sleep. I happened across you sleep changing video I slept like I was in my first tri. Lol it was wonderful be blessed! Pillows are the best!
realy very nice tips.thanks a lot.this video has helped me alot.i am 12 weeks pragnent and i am a stomch sleeper. so i was worried how to sleep.but this video has helped me alot. Allah bless you lady :)
yeh ur right when we r pregnant we feel tired and unconfortable when we sleep"as others mom experience, this is my first pregnant now 7 weeks..good luck for all moms.
I thought we weren't supposed to roll over at all in fear of the baby getting tangled with the umbilical cord...? If i'm laying on my right side, which is usually not that often and want to turn to the other side I tend to sit then carefully turn and lay on my left or vice versa..
This was really helpful. I can't do the 2nd or last positions because my hips hurt so badly, but I'm going to go out and buy a bunch of pillows to I can try the recliner position! Thanks!
Wrong Part of Youtube again... :P

My husband and i love "The pregnant throne" (well, just because even though I get
more than half the bed, at least he can sleep now and not suffer an angry sleep deprived wife) Thanks!

that's a myth. Just like reaching ur arms up to far will choke the baby. Ur baby constantly bounces
