But I do, totally!, agree with you about how if Homunculus is stuck in the stone how does it help Eike. And Dr. W asked for eternal youth . . . not life! Why is he still wandering around

@Swttooth121 from what I gathered, Homunculus cursed him to wander forever young, always watching people he gets attached to grow old and die, while he remains young forever.

@goldunicorn: Don't forget that the real ending is the first half of the video were Homunculous disappears satisfied that he's been set free. The rest was a flashback to show us *the rest of tha story*.

As for Dr. W touch Eike when they first met, with the flubs that appear throughout the game in sound, and animation I wouldn't be surprised if that was a mistake the creators forgot they'd made.

This ending has 2 big problems:

1) Dr. Wagner touched Eike once (the first time they met). So it didn't erase Eike's existence, did it?

2) If the Homunculus was trapped again in the red stone, how could he meet and help Eike change his destiny?

Or am I wrong?

1) Dr. Wagner and Eike aren't the same person.

2) By using time travel, they have an excuse to make things not make sense, sometimes.

Actually, thinking more into depth about 1), I think it's more that Eike has 2 'Eikes', the real Eike (Eike from modern day and 1500s, and Eike created when he goes back in time), and that only when real time Eike and time-travel Eike touch, is it that he gets a problem.

Although I can see the flaw you've pointed out better after rewatching a few times, now.

Best ending right here, its the only one that makes perfect sense with the story!! I just beat this game today, and I got this on my first try. I will not beat it again because I am satisfied! Amazing game will never forget it.

What so that's why Eike does not remember anything from his past and at ending A Homunculus said the real Dr Wagner is not dead that is because it is him. So yeah he is related with margareth.

Well, technically he wished to be eternally young, not necessarily for immortality. He CAN still die, just not by old age. Hurray for evil Djins and their twisted, loophole filled wish granting!

@Senkiatzu Homunculus isn't evil, he's neutral; he doesn't actively hurt anyone, he just doesn't really care about the affairs of others unless it involves or benefits him in some way.

@NukerVideo Fair enough. Still there is one thing I can't quite understand. By the time the game starts it's already present day. So that must mean Eike/Dr Wanger has been living in that town all that time. Did no one ever notice something off about the never aging kid with no memory? Did he himself never suspect anything was strange? Never notice that in all does years he never aged? Perhaps I simply missed if that's explained, but its just something I always found strange.

what the? so eike wasn't really from the present time and that was him all along or was it a curse put on that guy for what he did and instead of his face he got eikes?

I wish i played through this game a few more times to find out what happened but i sold it a few years ago :(

I got this ending the first time. I was all like "omg that was so frigging intense!" and i liked how the professor was Eike but i didn't like how Homonculous got turned back into a stone. I don't know why but i've always liked Homonculous for some reason (eventhough he can be a brat at times)

This was the ending I got when I played. I didn't know there were more. How do you get them?

Ending A- Tell Margarete she's your ancestress in Ch.5. In Ch. 8, get Homunculus from 'A cold day...'-time and go see the fortune teller before returning to the square.

B1- Above, then go to the fortune teller only

B2- A, but go to Homunculus only

C- A, but go to the Middle Ages, then to the square.

D- Don't tell Mergie about your ancestry, don't bring Dana back in Ch 8, and burn the research notes in the Middle Ages.

E- Don't tell Margie, do bring Dana back, and go to the Middle Ages.
