  • Nice build quality.

  • Very nice

  • I want one! How much?

  • I've been experimenting making wood burning backpacking stoves that burn clean without the forced induction. Those work very good but they're also too heavy for ultralight backpacking. So my quest continues. I'm working on a design, now, that has charactoristics of a bush buddy, but taking it just a little further. I know it will work and work well, but I'm wondering if it will really cut back on the soot problem. We'll see.

  • I like this stove great craftsman ship.

  • Prove it by making a video!

  • I made a video I called my stove the hot head. Reason I made mine like I did I wanted to protect the fan from heat I meade a stove with a computer fan and it melted the fan. Fan worked great when it worked bue we all don't have fans to get to too easily so I decided to build my next stove around a readily acaliable fan the wal mart necklace fan it is $4 & 2 AA batt. So far I used mine ro cook with and for the first half of the superbowl it roared away to keep the smokers warm. Smoke outdors.

  • your all talk. i would like to see a better stove than this. this stove kicks ass.

  • I refuse to have a battle of the wits with someone who is unarmed! End of subject and have a nice life!

  • how to make it?

  • Are you asking for a how to video? If so I could build another step by step and film it as I go.

  • So Now I Have my computer fan but it says DC12Volts. How are you running your fan?

I do have a 12 volt battery but it weighs over 3.5 lbs. I don't want to lug the extra weight in my pack, how would you suggest I tackle this problem?

  • I use a 9 volt battery and it works fine. 46 seconds into the video it is shown.

  • This stove is great but it requires a computer fan not everyone saves them ectect. I built a stove I called it the hot head it just needed you to get your cans cut and assemble them for a fan I used the common necklace fan that you can find at walmart $4 I bought my fan off season $2. My stove is not a backpackers stove but with the fan you can build a smaller wood gas stove and use the fan on any fire you need to start uses 2 AA batt and we all can easilt get them recharged solar on the trail.

  • Wow, great little stove, thanks for sharing!
