These guys were amazing. They performed at The Opera House in Rome GA. They were so amazing that I waited around 45 minutes in line to get to them after the show to tell them how much ass they kicked!
Still like "the big shove" better. I listen to this band a lot. Are there anymore videos from this set out there? Would really love to see them if its possable to get them on here. Thanks for this one.
Most of the times you see bands doing acoustic sets like this, and the singer will shy away from full voice high parts... This guy doesn't. I heard these guys on rockline years ago where they were interviewed about the origin of the song. I rushed out and bought the cd and lost it months later. I woke up this morning after having a dream about this song, and decided to see what they're up to. Hate they broke up. :(
last time i spoke to donnie he was chillin with other bands helpin with there tracks and what not.. i miss Dd and hate dark new day for killing double drive if u ever cared about double drive do not endorse dark new day b/c they didn't break up there guitar player left for dark new day. it pissed me off but donnie said he really likes dark new day and it didn't seen like it bothered him much at all but..doesn't change the fact that Dd is no more
I fucking love these guys totally pissed they broke up...i listened to them since they were on a demo tape bak in 98' fuckin rock...other bands could learn somethinng here...
These guys are truly amazing. There is a very long history and future of all the memebers of this band. They actually started as a band called Still Rain and once they split up Double Drive, Stuck Mojo and Sevendust were formed. Then came Mouthpiece and Dark New Day. Troy and Wil joined Evanescence last year, Clint Lowery was touring with Korn and is now back with Sevendust. Donnie Hamby, the singer, works for Roadrunner records. Wil is now touring with Seether, just a little background for you.
Yeah Mouthpiece did come first, I didn't realize I had put it in the wrong order...so much for proofreading huh hahaha......Has any heard about a possible full blown reunion in the works? If you go to their myspace page it seems as though they have done a couple of shows recently.
Their not a Christian Band, but they said in an interview they don't mind singing about their Savior. Their not a Christian Band but they all are Christians.
oh my god I couldnt figure out what this song was called forever, its been stuck in my head ever since I heard it for the first time on my radio, and I just found it now lol
One of my top 10 songs of all time ,and now in acousitc version. Thanks!!
