  • the early version of natalie portman

  • @gowiththeflowish lollolololl

    no

  • I wonder back then, did people care about what color the clothes were in the film, since they showed up as black/white?

  • Edith Head is a major D bag. She had it in her contract to get credit 4 clothing even if she had nothing to do w/ it. Look at Sabrina. Edith had NOTHING to do w/ what Audrey wore (it was designed by Givinchy and selected by Audrey) &yet she took full credit. She a joke. Even with respect to what Audrey wore most of the time in Roman Holiday was really picked by Audrey. Audrey is was the one who selected dresses &skirt that emphasize her tiny waist. Back then it would have seen seen as a flaw.

  • @shewstring2000>>I agree!!!! Im glad you have the same view. Todays movie stars are a bunch of egoic whores> swapping partners as quick as they change their undies. ITs disgusting , no morals, no shame just cheap nasty and fake. Im just not talking about women .Men are just as bad!!! Hollywood is a cesspool of iniquity!!!They have lost LOve its all SEX sex sex!! they have made it CHEAP!!!

  • wow she is remarkably beautiful.

that innocent smile, could make anyone momentarily forget about their personal hardship.

also she danced to give the money away! 0.o

    she is too perfect. :)

  • What is the name of the music playing at the very beginning?

  • the interview at 2:30.........she is perfect.........the hair, voice, face and her wit and charm!!! she was the best and i doubt there will ever be another person like her. a living angel!!!

  • @dettigs ........ohhhh yeah !

  • Nice

  • The original "You asked for it" was on from 1950-59. The host for the first eight seasons was Art Baker, seen here. I assume this is 1953 as the film is presumably about to premiere. The film premiered in the US on September 2nd, 1953.

  • i love audrey hepburn, classic. i wish the actoresses today would take some clues. she was a natural beauty and dressed like a lady. today hollywood uncovers more than they cover and most of what they uncover is not even real its plastic. most of them dress like sluts.

  • That designer reminds me of Edna Mode of the Incredibles o.O

  • @dhaveron I'm sure it's who she was based on!

  • @dhaveron She was the main inspiration for the character lol.

  • @dhaveron

That's exactly who the creators were trying to parody in The Incredibles! Not really a coencidence at all!

  • @dhaveron That is because the character Edna Mode was modeled after the legendary Edith Head.

  • @dhaveron Of course she does. It's Brad's tribute to her.

  • @dhaveron Actually in real life they modeled Edna Mode after Edith Head! You have a good eye for detail!

  • "Yes, words are useless! Gobble-gobble-gobble-gobble-gobble! Too much of it, darling, too much! That is why I show you my work! That is why you are here!"

  • I'm amused at how Edith Head "turns on" the 16mm movie projector each time a film clip is shown.
