  • Devant ça on ne peut dire qu'une chose : "wow, c'est beauuuuu" :o

  • Awesome.

  • C'est saisissant de voir combien la seule lumière du soleil (proton) suffit à voiler les multiples autres objets de la voie lactée.

  • Wonderful !!

  • Ok, in fact when the eclipse is total, le moon is very dark so you need a very long exposure time. Here it's 45s. So when the moon is full before and after it's very bright. Even if I've started to record at 100 iso and after 400 when it was total, it seems to be as bright as the sun, but if you look carefully their are some star in the sky even when it's bright.

I hope it hep you to understand.

  • That looked more like a solar eclipse to me.

    Am I crazy?? (don't answer that!! . . . ) . . .

  • @tomprejean

well ,I do not think you are a crazy ,cuz i do not think that the moon can give all this amount of light ,there must be some sort of manipulation or editing for this video ,I hope someone explains it .

  • @mnightsky if u go to apod.com it should explain it

  • @mnightsky

Thanks for the vote of affirmation regarding my current delusions :)

There was a sketchy explanation for it on APOD ---- but ------- it still seemed far too sketchy to me. If it was a video manipulation - as they seemed to indicate - they should have made that point a lot more pronounced.

This is the kind of thing that's going to confuse a lot of people who are anxious to learn - and are just beginning to learn about astronomy and the very interesting movements of the sky.

  • @tomprejean i've answered you, it's the moon ;)

  • @jldauvergne77

Hi - I just got your answer. Thanks so much for the explanation.

It's a beautiful picture, and I can understand the reason for the long exposure; however, I do think that someone should have made the thing more pronounced for people who are just becoming interested in astronomy - and who may be confused as to what a lunar eclipse is in the first place.

    Thanks again for the answer!!

  • Wow
