  • The view count is insignificant, I have viewed this video.

  • Necessity of being passive.

This man's contempt for the individual is insidious.

  • Its true! Treefrog. I can't tell you enough the years I have spent trying to process information by all these wonderful sources sutch as this but always am not able to reiterate it at the end of the day. I'm thirty years old now and feel pretty sad that one who seeks the truth so passionately as i do does not have the luxury of a genius attention span. Makes me feel worthless

  • I think it was 1959

  • What year was this recorded, please?

  • Who is the interviewer? And what was the programme called? Does anyone know?

  • we have been conditioned to have short attention spans.thats why laughing baby get squillians of views and an old man emparting his wisdom dosnt fit in to our attention spans we dont have the patience to hear him out much less absorb the truths.

  • i as well had first noticed the view count and felt both sorry and responsible that the information is out there but compared to "awesome hilarous . . . . . " is not being sought after. and that is just what Huxley says. there already is so much information and so much comfort that we do not dare to look for it but entertain ourselves. but again maybe we do not have to compare the view counts, just because importance of popularity has been injected to us as being the most important in life.

  • @birtanification

    Agreed and well said...

  • I love how humbling he is. A guy with a tremendous amount of knowledge is so willing to share it with others. Thanks for posting this!

  • thanks man. its funny how a laughing baby gets 10 million hits and a video ,such as this one, with helpful and intellectual knowledge get 265 hits. its shows alot about our species and how lost we have become. 2012 will filter out these dying traditions. peace

  • Nice one! This video has been posted on the Tube for quite some time. I wasn't the original poster, they deleted that guy because of infringement? B.S.! Aldous is dead!

But your analogy is quite fitting, it is the same as people spend more time learning football stats than how their govt works. People will have to pay for their ignorance.

Great point. :) Our colleges, these places of supposedly higher learning, support this mindless passivity in the public as well. Visit any State University webpage and what will you see first, of all programs? Instead of science, art, idea: Sports! Who cares about ball throwing, hitting, catching, stealing? Find any school or local paper pinted without page after page, program after program, picture after picture, to athletic scores and stats. I dare swear, you won't.

  • @xPhantomPoopx Holy Shit Fuck. LOL... Talk about being on that path and how things just happen quicker and quicker in your mind creating the universe. I was just talking to my girlfriend earlier today about just that, and then I was watching the first Huxley video and I wrote in my notebook about how a kid smashing a wiffle ball into his dad's nuts gets 10 mil hits in a few days and this video only gets a few thousand and it's been posted for almost 2 years.

    Wow. Just wow.

  • I admire Mr. Huxley, and I want to thank you as well for posting this interview. Hopefully more people will find him, with no doubt, poeple ought to know an intellectual as profound as Mr. Huxley. Please, don't hesitate to post more from him if you have.

    Thanks agian

  • Thank you very much for the appreciation however the view count is inconsequential to me. The people in the know will find it, the people who don't know - god bless them as they will maybe learn some other lifetime.

  • QuantumReality777:

I want to thank you for posting these videos; I realize it may be disconcerting to see the view-count to be perhaps lower than you'd like it to be, but bear in mind the knowledge of your postings reaching people who are genuinely appreciative.
