okay, this is one of the better vids on bass playing i've found on youtube! props for the bass player! :) nice timing, very good right hand technique. often times bass players don't concentrate enough on the right hand fingering, when that's the main part really! that's where the groove and the technique comes from. no matter how fast your left hand fingers are, if your right hand can't keep it up, there's gonna be no groove..

For those who are curious the bass I am playing is a Ron Blake Custom Bass. Ron used to work with Carl Thompson. Ron would build the necks and Carl the bodies. Ron actually built the necks of the Les Calypool 6 string and Stanley Clarke's piccolo basses. He is an amazing craftsman! You guys should check him out.
