Your claims about how blu-ray wasnt necessary were true 2 years ago, but if you want to burn/watch a movie in hd, than your gonna want a blu-ray drive for your pc or a ps3. thats valid because the new id title forgot what it is called is supposed to strech up to 3 hd dvd disc. Microsoft has to pay more royalties for this and wont allow it at the moment. while the blueray apparently can handle the whole load of space on one or two disc. this is important in seein that on the 360 that title will be compressed and less detailed.

The only problem is mutliple disc games. This is not a real problem anyway. WHo cares how many discs the game is on. As long as you can play the game.
With the PS3 the trade of is mutiple loads and instals. The 360 just swap the disc and sit back down. Ex. MGS4 grat game alot of loads.
