According to Wiki, the USA is roughly 80% White, 15% Hispanic, 13% Black, 4% Asian. The remainder make up 3% of the population. I think it's been that way for a very long time, since the oldest surnames are the same European origins. The only difference is the rise in Central & South American Hispanics. Spanish names are European.
