I love this song, mainly due to the power and vocals of Otis Redding. I guess it is true what they say, they don't make music like they used to. The sad part is I am a fourteen year old who enjoys this music, rather than the cultural trash that is being released in America these days. Its songs like this that bring people together, not music concerning multiple partners and substance use.

There are a LOT of inspirational messages from Bishop T.D Jakes, Bishop Noel Jones, Dr. Jamal Bryant, as well as complete episodes of my favorite TV shows like "TV One's Unsung", "I hate Chris" etc....You'll also find videos of my favorite music artist's like Marvin Gaye, Enchantment, Al Green & Gospel Music !
I play this song at least once a week and usually late on Friday nights. I live alone and this makes me wish I had someone to slow dance with. It would make the night and the song more perfect. Although I just recently started listening , makes me regret I didn't listen to this music in the day.But now I am my own influence.
This is the kind of song that makes you want to stay in love forever, I can feel this al the way down to the inner depths of my soul. Me personally, I think this is the best love song ever. Mr. Redding was really in love and you could feel his pain thru the lyrics, absolutely heartfelt.

best version of course-- I would have liked to hear Toussaint McCall do it too cause this song kinda reminds me of his nothing takes the place of you. except for the drums
they just don't make music like this anymore, I'm only 28, but i grew up with this music in my house and let me tell you this music grounds your roots
@rawdawg2thou you are obviously a tone deaf wanker who knows nothing about music and you definitelt aint a musician or you wouldn't make such an inane comment

Dear Otis,
Wish you were here. How great it would be to see you performing in front of 25,000 people at the London O2. As the youngster would say...awesome!
Still missing you, still playing your music. Long live Youtube!
All the best,
Paul
