I wasn't using sysex in PD because in the OSX build sysex doesn't work. I think i was using Logic's environment to send the sysex and feeding it midi notes from PD.
I really want to know how to do this. I'm a Microkontrol owner who can code and has used Pd in the past. Is there any documentation on getting the Korg into "native mode" and where to go from there? Thanks!
could you demo 502 and how deep the kick drum can get, and possibly some knob tweaking? ive been trying to find more demos of it but there are not many demos out there. thanks
Not really, Pure Data is doing the sequencing. With the bottom row i'm switching patterns. The higher rows are mutes for the different drum (midi) tracks. They flash whenever a (drum)voice is triggered.
can you link us to some code or something? I'd love to try this out.

How did you get Pure Data to send / receive the SYSEX messages?
I can't find a way to convert hex to decimal for Pd to use, and I'm hoping you didn't have to convert all the relevant codes yourself x_x;
Any help would be awesome, and this old patch would be even better :3 Thanks :3

Interesting - I'm not totally sure what's happening here ... you have the MicroKontrol doing the sequencing?
