my dad and i just started making soda with that homebrew extract. this is our second time making soda that way but we mixed the orange and cream extract. havent quite stepped up to the kegger yet. we let it carbonate in some plastic bottles so it will take a while to carbonate. its a pretty fun hobby to do. cant wait for the results
yes, it's 2 steel plates, 1/8th inch thick drilled on the ends to accept the bolts with wing nuts. One plate is cut out to fit around the neck of the bottle, the top plate is tapped 1/8" Pipe thread to accept the threaded end of the valve and on the other end of the valve is a standard quick disconnect fitting (air hose fitting)
you remind me of a mad scientist ..woohaa

Great show! I was trying to figure out that connection. Soda bottles have funny threads. How much pressure do you use to charge the bottle?
Have you ever burst a 2 liter bottle? I have heard that they can hold 100psi.

Mmm. . . tastes like hose.
guitarslim56 3 years ago
Actually, it tases like soda water. the hose is just the CO2, which does not pick up any taste from the hose.
ioherbalalchemy 3 years ago
Is this a CO2 or a compresser air?
