  • haha awesome

  • @prammaven Oh, and I made the mistake of changing color profiles whenever I saved the PNG files after editing them in Photoshop...went from sRGB to AdobeRGB

  • @prammaven Old wire removal techniques. About 30 minutes of photoshopping for the cage and rabbit scene. The rocks took about 20 minutes if I remember. watch?v=PDoS0Non6jI

  • @EightBitYoshi no worries, it's just I don't want people to get stuck in the track that I was of trying to replicate work. It's no fun!

  • @EightBitYoshi Part of the fun in making sculptures of things is experimenting to get the right shape! Try, try and keep trying until you get the look you're going for. I make my tutorials as non-specific as possible to help people get the basics. The more precise sculpting requires experience (and honestly, that Yoda is really primitive!)

  • omg aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • wow

  • Thats amazing i use va aken clay too and i just thoght to my self how amazing this claymation is and how long it would take!!!!!

well good job! i hope to see more from you and i subbed!

  • lightsabers can cut everything in the galaxy......except Cuck Norris

  • this was cool,, i dig the colors ....nice and bright..cheerz!

  • you don't make stop animations with chuck norris in them he makes stop animations with YOU in them.(that was in bad taste...) nice video though

  • What other things can you do through your claymations? Is this a potential career that your looking at? The only claymations I have ever seen were Rudolph the red nose reindeer and robot chicken (which is awful). haha

  • @kdub4christ91 Stop-motion animation is really coming back in the advertising field.

  • @sgtjlopez You have any ideas for new ones?

  • I would think you could do bible stories. That would be pretty cool. Samson is a good example. I thought it was funny when he picked up the gate and walked away with it.

  • pretty cool i guess

  • That's no chin under Chuck Norris' beard, it's just another fist.

  • HI, liked the video.

I just started doing claymations and I just ordered some Van Aken Plastalina. Is that what you use??

If so, what do you think of it??

    cheers

  • Yeah, I use Van Aken. It's good for the most part. You just have to work with it or else it will crack.

  • *sigh* sorry to be a hater, i know this took a long ass time, but for what? this is so stupid, and you need to find something better to do...omg the things that people find to do with their time, it just astonishes me

  • @moneymore0 No worries.

Now tell me this 'hater', if you are so concerned about how I spend my time, why are you then wasting your time watching my claymation? What are you doing on YouTube in the first place?! lol, I'm just asking.

  • That was awesome. When is part 2 going to show up?

  • Within the year. I want this to be a massive project. I have to master a few things first

  • That's no chin under Chuck Norris' beard, it's just another fist.

  • FAMILY GUY

  • That's an old joke.

  • cool art.............

  • considering the shit i spend my time on this is good lol good for you really im not making fun of you you're doing what makes you happy who cares what other ppl have to say oh and keep it up you're good at this

  • Haha, I love the way that you look at it. Wish I had friends with that kind of mentality.

  • I should dedicate my time to other things? How about you? You just go around whining like a prick.

  • wtf has this got to do with the montauk monster..?

  • Hmmm? Who cares about the montauk monster!? LOL. Wow, I mean, it's a dog!

  • haha! tell me to grow up? what the hell is this then...

  • Call it comedy.

  • i call it childish

  • Well coming from someone younger than me, I really could care less about a statement like that.

  • haha ok

  • wow! thats quite a detailed set...must have taked a while to set it all up!

  • Like you wouldn't believe.

  • why was criss angel at the end you should make a video with num

  • no efence 2 yoda cuz hes awesome but he wold have exploded after 2 kiks

  • Hahaha, his head just like explodes...I should have thought of that! Nice...

  • that was the coolest thing

  • LOL, thanks. That was one of the trickiest ones I've done so far. The one I am doing right now will be way better...

  • holy crap. Awesome job!

i could never make that in a million years

  • Thanks :) It takes forever, yes....haha

  • Your animations are great! The action, the mouth movements, the plot was all great, and you actually had music in this one which made it even better! You surpassed me when it comes to claymation...

  • Thanks :) Yeah, this one was--I think--a good 55 hours to make.

  • Thanks alot !! I am just learning .. your really good though !

  • :) Hey, it's always good to see that people are starting up, because there are hardly any claymation artists anymore.

  • this is jamestbond1 and i like ur video 5 stars i also made a stick figure videousingpivot if u want to see it. lol my name on xbox live is chuck norri5s. lol

  • Thanks :)

I'll have to add you on Live, but I don't go on too much. I really don't even play video games very much anymore...I do play PGR4 a good deal though.

  • how do you make really good clay people

  • Basically, I created my own style of clay people and developed it in depth. I am not trying to copy anyone, so they turn out really--different. Not too cartoony! Not too real!

  • LOL, I just noticed the subtitles are wrong! hahaha

  • awesome animation! it was funny when he had a fist behind his beard lol. great job 5/5

  • LOL, thanks! One of those things that just came up and knew that it couldn't be left out!

  • I really liked it, but its hard to understand the voices. Good Job!

  • LOL, I think it's about time that I put subtitles in this one...

  • Yup, just put the subtitles in.

  • That was sweet, nice work!

  • I knew you would like it!

  • oh and BTW i would love to help you out on some voices, i could recomend a amazing sound effect site called soundsnap com

  • omg lol just read deskription and i use sony mini DV cam TOO! and i want van aken clay, is it good?

  • I really like Van Aken plastaline. The stuff is really good when it comes down to most of the claymation goodies that I need to make....

  • okk but would you recomend it for an "every day clay" or do you have somthing or heard of sumthing that is better?

  • You can get the Newplast that Aardman uses--it's pretty tough stuff though. If you like armatures, it works perfectly. I like the Van Aken a lot though, just because it does what I need it to. :)

  • haha that funny because i already use newplast! lol i kinda dont like it , it took me an hour to mould 2 colours and into a small 2-3 inch person

  • 5/5 man i love your video's, do you do the voices? please watch mine! i subbed

  • Thanks! Yeah...unfortunately I can't find anyone else to help me out with the voices. If you want to help me out some time with the next human voice, I'll contact you...if you're interested. :)

  • Great! You are very great... Yoda Vs Chuck Norris, more epic than Obi-Wan Kenobi Vs Anakin Skywalker...

  • Thanks :) I haven't seen that one...is it worth my while? ;)

  • I think... yes... But this video is the best Jedi fight!

  • where do you get the props and backrounds and floors and stuff?

  • The entire set is clay--except for the sky which is paper. The floor is 1/8 Plexiglas with paper that I spray painted from a distance with black to make it look more like dirt. I 100% made everything that you see in this video. Nothing, absolutely nothing's made out of plastic for the characters and background.

For this claymation, I used only two light sources, the new Super Mario Claymation is going to use 3 lights.

Photoshop CS is what I used, you can download the demo, then get CS2 demo

  • Wow, that's some majorly expert claymation. It's not near as funny as Knox's klaymations, but hell, it is good.

  • Thanks. I know, this one was more about action, and I wanted to make a crazy claymation with wires and editing like I never have before. The next one is going to be even better.

  • how do you make things fly

  • Photoshop. I edited somewhere around 200 frames--probably more. I don't remember, I should have taken better track, because the frame editing was about 10 hours in itself.

  • OMG ho can you make it that smooth? man u can be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good at stopmotions

  • Thanks, I want to start making the second part some time in the next few weeks. I am making a stopmotion film currently. It is going to be a lot of work.

  • Great job J Lo!

  • You need to get back in the game with some animation some time. You practice some and I'll buy you a few pounds of color clay to get you started and give you some pointers. You really could become pro too. With your crazy head, you WILL make some good ones if you take some time to get that homework done and actually have some play time! :)

  • Hey jon! i am using my sister's rite now. this is kendra. ;) I can barely hear what they are saying. You should increase the volume.

  • That's because you used a laptop speaker! I can hear it on my iBook, and that is one of the quietest laptops you can get. Then again, you do use a PC ;)

  • awesome!! next time make it just subtitles tho :)

  • I was thinking of that, but some people hate subtitles like the plague. If I can figure out that Subtitle feature on YouTube, I WILL use it.

Will put your idea to effect. Thanks for the feedback.

There will be a new Chuck Norris one within the next two to three weeks. It will be on a higher budget. This one cost me in excess of 150$. The next one is going to be made with iStopMotion 2 Express--a bit pricey, but good.

  • Nice. You should upload it not letterboxed though (so it will letterbox for people with 4:3 screens but display fuller for people with 16:10 screens).

  • Hmmm. Okay, thanks, I just do it for the widescreen tvs, Youtube just isn't up to date, they need a widescreen format. I can't wait for YouTube HD

    Dream...

  • Sweet! Chuck Norris, Yoda, AND a cute fuzzy rabbit!

  • Harmonious, isn't it? :)

  • LOVED IT JON keep it up

    -poff

  • Anything for you Poff ;)

  • good claymation jon keep it goin!!

  • Thanks Niko. I am going to start working on the next one tomorrow, most likely. I can't wait to come up with some really cool ideas.

  • fist behind his ear he has. lmfao :]

  • NO! Fist behind his Beard, he has! lol

  • lol

  • EPIC!

  • The possibilities!

  • Hey you've done a very great job!!!! NICE!!^^

    5/5

  • Thanks :)

I'm promoting it all over facebook and MySpace. I hope to have this well over 300 views by the end of the day. I mean, it's Chuck Norris! lol
