  • I find it ridiculous people feel the need to demonize disney princesses. Sorry, but girls and boys are different, girls naturally like more feminine things. Psychology has known this for years. But there's nothing wrong with that. When you demonize all things girly because they're "sexist" you tell girls they can't be themselves. Tons of girls love pink and glitter. Let girls be girls. I was a huge tomboy as a kid, but I still loved Ariel. I know it's shocking isn't it?

  • Rest in peace, Adriana Caselotti.

  • 34 people do not like Princesses or they never fell in love with Snow White as a little girl or boy

  • I am simply in LOVE with traditional 2D animation. I swear upon my immortal soul, I'll bring it back in the times to come! With God as my witness, I will let Mr. Disney's vision survive!

  • I've seen this movie countless times to much to remember, I've seen it for so may years its like The Wizard Of Oz it never gets old, Snow White always stays young and beautiful, Snow White is still the fairest of them all after all these years.

  • oh god i <3 this movie so much! Most of my friends r NUTZ about the classics, but i have a few friends who are like 'oh ywah, snow white. I read the book' and im like :OMG u havent LIVED!!!

  • Also, I read a book on how they made this. It was a painstaking process. After a bit of the moview was made Walt Disney thought that snow white was a little too pale and wondered if they could add a bit of color in her cheeks, but that meant the girls in the inking department would have to go through each individual cell and place the blush accurately each time. He asked the head lady if she thought they could do it, and she replied, " Respectfully sir, we all it ourselves every day!"

  • fluttershy=snow white. :D

    Lauren Faust, you genius!

    Disney 4ever! :3

  • nana <3 i miss you. you can now be the snow white you love..oh wait you always were :)

  • love disney so so much :) i have a tattoo of the little baby bluebird who perches on her finger :)

  • My favorite princess!! :)

  • my favorite movie of all time. i don't like the remastered versions, i like them in the condition that they were made in.

  • I watched this animation at least 100 times when I was a kid.

  • quality picture - is this from the blu ray version?

  • This is the most beautifulest song ever! :D

  • i love snow white!!

  • Thats the cutest bunny ever!

  • I adore her voice! I wish i had a vibratto (spell check) like that!!

  • runss away and covers ears

  • my favourite of disney's, because it was the only one (oh, so with The Hunchback of Notre Dame) witch I have on video tape at home, when I was a little ♥

  • For some reason. This is truly terrifying.

  • People often look at me weird when I tell them I love old Disney movies. But what they don't get is that movies these days are getting awful. Most movies that are coming out are either sequels, spinoffs, or re-makes. They should de-frost Mr. Disney... and fast, before they re-make Snow white. Oh wait, they're already doing that.

  • @iPaintFlowers I know, right! I do love Snow White (I can't believe it was made in 1937!!)

I like the Disney Renaissance films most (Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, Hunchback) But these movies (Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty) are so beautiful! I can't believe they're making a remake with Snow White being some kind of warrior. And even worse... it's going to be played by [says in robotic voice] Kristen....Stewart. I"m sorry, but that girl has NO talent.

  • @happythunder3 I can't believe it's going to be played by KRISTEN STEWART! I won't see the remake!

  • @iPaintFlowers THEY CAN'T REMAKE SNOW WHITE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • @iPaintFlowers Disney was cremated

  • @TheNapoleonnerd Then we are all doomed for certain D:

  • 24 dislikers are deaf and blind.

  • I love Snow White!!!

  • I'm singing that for a play audition!!!

  • "I really feel quite happy now." Really? You insane, 30s Christian archetype, what is wrong with you?! You were almost murdered by an insane servant of your wicked stepmother who just found out she wants to kill you! You should have 12 types of PTSD symptoms right now!

  • Rest in peace Adriana Caselotti, our first Princess.

  • yes, beautiful!

  • lol the animals

  • For someone born before tweezers, she sure has thin eyebrows...

  • all of the flutter vibrato...

  • @NewComposer01 it was considered beautiful back then, it was an essential

  • @wubie92 It's still considered beautiful now.

  • I love this movie... but Snow White can't sing to save her life. She can hold a note okay, but she sounds terrible.

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah i lov snow white but the song its sooooooooooo squeaky

  • man Disney singers got some talent

  • Snow White has the sexiest voice I've ever heard. My GOD!

  • Whenever I saw a bunny in the backyard I would go outside and sit there singing. Lol. They always ran away but I did get covered in caterpillars...

  • This is my childhood. :)

  • The song is beautiful. I bet the woman who voices the character is very great at singing!

  • @cute3Angel Adriana Caselotti was a wonderful singer, even into her seventies. But unfortunately, this was the only movie she was ever allowed to be in.

  • when i was younger i used to think that when i would sing all of the animal around me would come and listen to me just like snow white! i love disney

  • @EmilyGabrielleHere Ik what you mean. I wanted fuzzy bunnies, small birds and adorable chipmunks around me when I sing. That's why I loved snow white so much and I still do.

  • alternate ending...animals fight to be with her XD

  • This made me cry

  • brb, gonna go in back yard and try this..

  • @larrybob141 Did it work and yes I know you are only joking. :)

  • @RPfangirl123 i wish it worked :(

  • This was my fav. Movie when little but it is soo anoying how she talks

  • my favourite movie of all time, not telling my age... It's still a masterpiece

  • imagine how long it took to make this movie...

    Walt Disney was a genius!

    Amazing!!

  • Oh my gosh, this was made in the 30s? This looks better than half of all animation made within the past decade.

  • @LethaLImpuLse wow... i had my suspicions with the type of music used.. but i honestly didnt think this was made in 1937. Thanks :P

  • @LethaLImpuLse No...I don't think so.

  • @TheCrispyThing, I checked it on wikipedia. it says it was made in 1937. I couldn't believe it either. I mean really? did they have this technology back then?! damn....

  • @Tootoon2009 I know right? But that's not what I meant, I was disagreeing with the part where he/she stated that the graphics looks better than the modern animations. 1937? I would have thought in the 60s or 70s.

  • @TheCrispyThing, oh ok, got ya. I thought the same thing. I actually thought it's from the 80s or something. lol I would say cartoons like Cinderella and Lion King are slightly better than snow white, especially because snow white is kinda grey and dull. The user who said it's better than modern animations exaggerated it. But man, I thought cartoons were all black and white till the 50s. Funny how I didn't know this even though I watched snow white many times like 15 years ago.

  • @Tootoon2009 lool, Yeah 'cause at the time films were usually black and white, It's surprising that back then such an animation would've been produced, and I haven't even watched it before, just this video that I discovered after listening to some music. I'm not really into the musical type of cartoons, and Lion King and Cinderella have smoother, clearer graphics, so yeah, they're better.

  • @LethaLImpuLse She is the fairest in the land! LOL

  • @LethaLImpuLse its so detailed thats why. People are sloppy these days.

  • @LethaLImpuLse From what I heard they used rotoscope for this animation which means someone would act out the scene and they would basically trace over that persons movements and such. Which is fine considering there wasn’t much experience in animation back then.

  • @LethaLImpuLse

And took much, much longer. And required more resources and expenses.

So really its accessibility at the cost of quality.

  • She has the sweetest little voice.

  • I love her voice

  • soooooooo tripppyyy

  • obsessed

  • SNOW WHITE IS AMAZING! <3 not my favorite but is amazing still. she started it all! :D <3

  • Snow White is the most beautiful princess, and deserves more respect than she gets.

  • To tell you the truth, I like Snow White but it wasn't exactly the most memorable one and I barely remember any of the songs or parts of it

But I'm glad to remember something out of this song :)

  • my chior teacher says not 2 sing like her

  • @crazykittyluv i would tell your teacher "what, you dont want me to sing amazing, you dont want me to sing like i have talent?"

  • @crazykittyluv Oh no, in a choir your voice would poke out so much if you sang like her. The point of a choir is to blend everyone's voices together. I love Snow White's voice, but take your choir teacher's advice if you plan on singing in a group.

  • THE BUNNY IS SOOO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!11

  • I really wish I could have dinosaurs and other animals go "near" me and touch me.

  • lol I would sometimes sing infront of animals and all and they would do nothing or just run away lmao. then i would get pissed and run after the squirrel or wild cat or whatever.

  • @ifuckdinosaurs Mind that this was when I was a little kid

  • The animation is crazy.

  • Such a beautiful song after such a TERRIFYING scene...

  • Has anyone ever noticed that the ride at Disneyland is...well...kinda scary? I mean what happens when you're alone and you see something moving underneath the bridge? o.0 I'm 17 and I still get scared.

  • did anyone else ever find snow white's voice really kind of annoying?

  • @packets1 Not at all. That's how some people sang back then.

  • are you talking about her accent when she is singing?

  • a classic disney movie !<3

  • I'm 13 and i love all the old disney movies. i hate i mean HATE all the new movies. My favorite is Lion King or Little Mermaid :)

  • @ScaryMovieFan4 Well said. The classics were the best. Now everything is such cheap ass humor which makes it drag along. It is so pitiful. Kids these days should be looking at classics and stuff, not just ONLY modern stuff!

  • I don't hate her voice, it is just really high pitched and hurts my ears sometimes. Not like chipmunks high pitched but you know what I mean.....

  • have u ever noticed that every princess has some type of animal friend

  • My daughter loves all the classic disney movies.. its nice sharing your childhood cartoons with your own kids :)

  • So glad im born in the 90's to hear this!!

  • @PinkCherryInc

I have to agree but Snow White came out in 1937 it was to first disney movie :3

  • @fangirl1106 Hahaha :P I mean that I was still able to watch this :PP

  • my tummy hurts, but does anybody care ... NO

  • When I get older and have kids. The first 5 years of their life they aren't watching anything BUT the classics :D

  • her voice is stunning.

  • 2:20

  • Does anyone else go into the woods and sing all confidently and try to attract animals....instead u get them running away..... fail.

  • It's just so beautiful.

  • Getting ready for audition's for my school's production of Snow White! :D Wish me luck! :D

  • i like that snow white has a cute full face, wider neck and a normal body shape not like the later Disney princesses that are anorexic

  • Pretending to be a sad maiden...hmm....seems like it's be a good hunting strategy.

  • I loved snowwhite, it was the only thing I wanted to watch :D

  • She was a childhood girlfriend

  • I remember me and my friend in School playing Princesses! Ahaha, good times, good times.

  • Fff

  • i remember when i was little, i thought i could get animals to come up to me if i sang lol didnt work :( i did get squirrels always coming upto me though =D WEHEYYY!

  • Hey, I happen to like Rapunzel lol I luv Tangled, great movie, though, I'm a tom-boy so I dont really have a keen eye for princesses but still. Though yes, I somewhat agree, there are still people out there who admire and look up to princesses. :)

  • Kids love their Shreks and Spongebobs, but they wouldn't have them if it were not for this masterpiece. A little respect, please.

  • @ReesiePuffs64 totally agree

  • Good song.

  • I wish animals would come to me like that when i sing bahaha xD

  • I hate how in 2012 they're going to make 2 really really f'ed up snow white films -__-

they need to hop off the classics DX

  • the lady who sang like an angel was adriana caselotti

  • they should do movies like this more...show younger girls to be more kindhearted, ladylike. maybe they aren't princess but it isn't as if we can't act as one

  • I still watch disney classic movies, get excited when I go to disneyland and still pretend I'm a disney princess and im 20 yrs old :)

  • I just don't get what people have against Snow White these days. Just because the movie's old! Kids these days, they have no respect for the one that started it all and are annoyed by the songs from this wonderful film! What's wrong with them!?

  • @Kira666Uchiha thank you! XD

  • @Kira666Uchiha I wasn't a big fan of Snow White when I was a child. I'm eighteen now, and I rented the movie on a whim to use up my Blockbuster giftcard (our VHS tape is long gone) and I realized that, even though I admit her voice does get to me occasionally, in terms of animation this is my all-time favorite Disney film. I watched Sleepign Beauty and Cinderella afterwards and while I still adore those films, the animation doesn't quite have that "feel" about it.

  • @Kira666Uchiha I just never liked her voice, it was always just somewhat irritating to me.

  • @BatTitan EVERYONE seems to hate her voice. Modern people. Well, a friend once told me, as I complained about Dorothy's voice that I'd hate Snow White's more, when actually, I LIKED it more than Dorothy's! Also, my voice is very high pitched, so it doesn't bother me.

  • @Kira666Uchiha Well, I hope I didn't insult you, then! D: it's not so much the high pitch of her voice but that weird vibrato to her singing voice. Kind of like how Mia Farrow sang in The Last Unicorn...

  • @BatTitan LOL Naw, you didn't! ;) Also, Vibrato. Perhaps you're just not a fan of opera-like singers, which Adriana Casselotti was?

  • @Kira666Uchiha Seems accurate XD I'm more a fan of the Disney Renaissance period in terms of Disney music.

  • @BatTitan Most people are. All that came before the 90s seems ignored by the general public, though I do admit I love the ones scored by Alan Menken, especially when Howard Ashman wrote the lyrics...But I also like Frank Chruchill of the 40s and 50s too! He was also a good songwriter, even if it sounds old fashioned to today's audience.

  • @Kira666Uchiha it's weird though, when i was a kid i don't even mind how she was singing or the songs, maybe cause i understand people in the 30's? sing that way, and it's hard to do a voice like that >.<, i did once and it sounded like a turtle went down a hill and die

  • @Kira666Uchiha because were all godless pothead drunks who try so hard to be rebellious and dont care about anything of value

  • @Kira666Uchiha

I have a little cousin whos favorite is Snow White. :)

  • @Kira666Uchiha

Its because now it looks pretty to be tan almost orange, bleached blonde long hair and be autotuned so they dont really care about her voice just her apperance which was accually the style walt disney himself found attractive.

    I blame the mainsteam.

  • @Kira666Uchiha I'm 13 and I love this movie and its songs though :)

  • @Kira666Uchiha That sucks! I didn't know that! It's probably cuz there brain washed with the ditzy over optimistic not realistic princesses these days.

  • @Kira666Uchiha thank you! kids need to be taught that these are the true classics and not the climb with miley cyrus

  • @Kira666Uchiha I'm telling you it's the modern Disney that ruined their brains and not appreciate good classic Disney.

  • who is this? it sounds like shirley temple when shes talking

  • @livelovedance325 Adrianna Cosseloti or somethin like that

  • @link5767 Its Adriana Caselotti.

  • i wish animals would come to me when i sing

  • 1:09 - adorable!!

  • These movies do have good messages! You have to stop looking at them with a serious adult point of view. There's so much sadness and death and fear in the world, every kid grows up, and has to work at a job, and worry about bills, no adult gets by by wishing for a prince, the movie teaches kids that no matter how hard things become, you can always dream, and you can always have a positive attitude.

  • I love how she speaks in rhyme :D

  • Personally, I do enjoy the older Disney "Princess" movies, BUT I really LOVE some of the newer ones as well! I think that alot of these movies do nothing my give unrealistic expectations to little girl - wait around on Prince Charming and everything will be ok.

  • THE REASON WHY DISNEY WONT MAKE ANY MORE PRINCESS MOVIES IS BECAUSE THEY SAY LITTLE GIRLS NO LONGER WANT TO BE PRINCESSES. DISNEY...THAT IS BECAUSE YOU MAKE THEM LOOK UP TO POP STARS SO THEY WANT TO PARTY INSTEAD! I SAY WE TELL DISNEY THAT THEY NEED TO SET AN EXAMPLE!

  • my child will grow up with classics, not rapunzel crap!

  • Halcyon days, when Disney brought a forest fill of cute animals and a girl with an angel voice... But now the princess is like a Lara Croft, the prince is nothing charming but sexy, and animals are only two adventurers ready to some fight. ='(

  • Little kids would still want to be princesses if Disney didn't make them idolize pop stars. JUST SAYING.

  • this is beautiful <3

  • "I really feel quite happy now!" :)

yes the classics are amazing :)

  • I wish it was really THAT easy to get animals to go near me.

  • This voice is so annnoyingly trembling. The german version from 1994 is way better.

  • @flexan4o That was what was considered good singing. If the Germans did it back then, they'd have sounded just as irritatingly warbly, just like anyone else who speaks just about any other language.

Times change, though, and it's not like it's BAD singing. :)

  • AHHH! if animals just randomly approached me like that I'll freak out!!!

  • It's so hard to actually find songs that are sung like this nowadays...

  • I THINK IT WOULD BE FUN

    TO LICK SNOW WHITE'S TOES

  • @FRANKMANNACO700 are u ok?

  • דעם שטענדיק מאכט מיר פילן בעסער!

  • i cant belive rapunzel is considered a clasis disney princess now because she is all animated and shtt PLUS the classic disney princesses are: snow white, sleeping beauty, little mermaid, beauty and the beast, cinderella.

i wouldnt even consider princess and the frog a classic because its not the best but honestly i didnt even watch rapunzel cos it was animated and in 3D

im so mad at disney!!!! grrrrrr

  • @nikkijordan77 well, its a shame you think that. I don't really like the princess and the frog either, but thats mainly cuz I overwatched it. Tangled (Rapunzel) was really good, and I would consider it classic material. Doesn't matter that it was in computer animated and 3D.

  • Snow white is the prettiest disney princess....inside and out.

  • lovely voice..

watched this movie when i woke up... *sigh*... This is the good stuff...

  • This song always cheers me up when I am sad

  • With a smile and a song Life is just a bright sunny day Your cares fade away And your heart is young With a smile and a song All the world seems to waken anew Rejoicing with you As the song is sung There's no use in grumbling When the raindrops come tumbling Remember, you're the one Who can fill the world with sunshine When you smile and you sing Everything is in tune and it's spring And life flows along With a smile and a song
  • My great-grandfather, Ward Kimball, was one of Walt Disney's favorite animators. He did most of the animation for the character of Snow White :)

  • It's been 16 years since i last time seen "Snow White". I was a innocent kid back then. But now, I'm kinda pervert. Just imagine it: A white girl in a middle of 7 men.... HEHEHHEHEE...
