I'm honestly not sure if I'm getting too old for newer games or if newer games actually do suck hard, but I honestly HATE most of the games for PS3, with very few exceptions like this one.

FF13 was crap, unless you love watching cutscenes for 2/3rds of the game, Dead Island was repetitive and unoriginal, and other titles don't interest me.

Hell, when I do play my PS3 it's to play this game, Metal Slug 2, and Shadow of the Colossus. I'm also waiting for Devil May Cry HD collection.

Even though sales of this game i don't know why, maybe because of marketing this product or releasing on a flooded gaming season. It dosen't matter, this game rocks and is a hidden gem and especially its selling for 29.99 what a bargain not to mention its a launch release for ps vita it better be at that price and yes i will take it with me on the go. I score this game 9.5-10 because no game is perfect but this comes damn close. Sequel please "UBI SOFT " :D

There are only 2 new powers that wasn't in rayman 1 (dive and I gess running on walls).

But, the other powers rayman gets in that game are better than their old version from rayman 1.

There are also a lot cool stuff that could be new powers but rayman have them even before he gets his first power. like surfing, jumping between 2 walls that are close to each other,running faster (was the last power in rayman 1).

I love Michel Ancel's charisma! In every interview I saw him doing for this game, he always seemed like he was barely able to contain himself; he was just so excited to be working on this game. I just beat it today, and have to give him credit; he deserved to be excited. It's an amazing game. Ancel had a truly unique and beautiful vision and followed through with it. This game is incredible, and was seriously overlooked. I loved Skyrim and BF3, but this trumped everything else I played this year

Played through this game and gotten all the trophies. Must say that this game is one of the best all year. I have this game, and trust me, it is AMAZING. It truly is. The game looks beautiful, the music and sounds are fantastic, and the controls are incredibly fluid. It is definitely up there in my favorite games of the year, and I'm very picky when it comes to production value. I highly recommend this game to players of all ages, and although you can enjoy this game by yourself, playing with a friend is just FUN. Nowadays fun is getting a bit rare in games, so why are you still reading this? Buy it!

@joaovictor1994 I also have a PS3. The reason I want to get the Wii version is to simply justify me purchasing one recently (got is used for $80). The only games that appeal to me right now are SMG 1 & 2. I got the GCN version of Twilight Princess. I also got Metroid Prime and Wind Waker for Gamecube. So, the more excellent (not just good) games I can get for Wii to justify my purchase, the better. How does the Wii version control? Good?

@psx2514 You do not use the Nunchuck for this game. You just need the Wii remote, and of course you need to hold it sideways. The movement is some of the best in the genre for this console, although it isn't exactly New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

But don't worry you'll get used to it quicker than you'd expect.

I'd also recommend Donkey Kong Country Returns, it is also a great game, but trust me, at some points it can be very challenging, sort of like the SNES DKC games. Have fun and Merry Christmas!

For me the game is more annoying. I can compare it to Rayman 1 and say that it is very bad in comparison. The sounds and music are obnoxious, nothing like in the old Rayman games, the feel ain't the same. The game mechanics are good though, but the levels are unimaginative and boring. The game just looks good but it really isn't. IMO

Don't get me wrong, I love the good old Rayman sidescroller, but you know, although it hasn't been all that long, those were simpler times, I don't think the old Rayman would sell very much these days, especially because most kids don't even know him, they just know those damn rabbids. Gaming has changed a lot since the 90's and early millenium... But this game brings me back.
