  • I wish the opening Lutz wasnt on the inside edge, because then it should have been +3 GOE because it was amazing... Such a good program, great interpretation.. Love the step sequence. I hope she can medal at worlds

  • wow that dress is beautiful. and that first lutz was TEXTBOOK. just perfect!

  • This program is just AMAZING, the most beautiful I have ever seen from her but she is actually overscored: how can a skate score the best FS making misktakes in five jumps??? I konw she has wonderful spins and high PCS but I want to see this program skated cleanily!!

  • @GioMariatex97 3 jumps.

  • @TheRuffles78 No, she received the "e" in the first 3Lz, then she did 1A+3T instead of 2A+3T, the 2Lo in the combo with the 3Lo and the 2T was <, she singled the second lutz and then she made a little mistake in the flip. And, sorry, the mistakes are six: the 2T in combo with the 3S was <, too... She won the FS just because of the high PCS...

  • @GioMariatex97 Well, you seem to have different standards for Suzuki and Asada. Asada also had many mistakes with jumps, but you don't seem to mind at all with her PCS. Asada's TES was lower and PCS was higher than Suzuki.

  • @kaorumikeko No, I don't have different standards: Asada deserved 64 points for PCS and deserved the final win, Akiko's program (as I wrote before) is artistically beautiful but I don't think it deserved to win the FS...

  • @GioMariatex97 I see, Asada was only successful with two 3Fs. Her 3Lz got "e", one 3Lo was UR, the other became 2Lo, 3T was also UR, and 3S became 2S. And she still deserved 64 in PCS and to win FS, and Suzuki did not deserve 62 in PCS.

  • @kaorumikeko The PCS is not based on the jumps! You can't compare Asada's fluidity, transitions, choreography, speed, interpretation, grace with Akiko's... They are both wonderful, but I just think Akiko deserved something like 59-60...

  • @GioMariatex97 So, when Suzuki makes mistakes in jumps, they should affect her PCS while when Asada makes mistakes in jumps, PCS is not based on jumps? What a convenient double standard! For you, PSC should function as a place holder to separate Asada from other skaters allowing her to win no matter how many mistakes she makes.

  • @kaorumikeko No, I didn't mean it: I wrote before that I like akiko's style and I think this program is BRILLIANT but all I wanted to say was that I think Asada's is artistically a lot better and that the difference between the two PCS should be higher (in my opinion)...

  • @GioMariatex97 Asada is actually SLOWER than Suzuki. Lack of speed was one of the first things Nagakubo, Suzuki’s coach pointed out when Asada came to him in the summer of 2010. Her current coach Sato still needs to work on her skating because he won’t be able to fix her jumps without increasing speed. There is nothing remarkable in her transitions. She even slows more and slightly crouches before taking off.

  • Akiko's spirit and positive energy are contagious, and it brings a smile to my face every time I see her skate. In my book, she can do no wrong. Akiko is an inspiration.

  • she is a talented skater and performer. Graceful, elegant. She interpets the music very well--best of all the japanese skaters-- except for Daisuke. He is great in feeling and contecting with the music as well. Mao is elegent and Graceful as well, but Akiko is better at feeling and listening to the music...I would love to see her win worlds..

  • She is the best skater in the world for me! Best, best, best! I love her so much!

  • I love this program SO MUCH!
