Look how it happened when she was in the ship happened a timewrap with the same time when the TMD energy run out she was in 1955 if you noticed she was all right in the water with no wounds that means she got shot in the singularity building while trying to stop the explosion herself after getting shot her last hope was atleast to warn the future after writing the message it and dying it cause the anomaly for the singularity to explode in the very beginning :) took a while to search it trough

remember she didnt need the tmd she was nearby with the doc and renko when he was on the ship ..that was when the time waves came and swept renko ,kathryn and dr barichev dude to 1955 ..i was gonna go in a room and get some t99 while on the dock b4 you fix the generator or fuse thing underwater..i missed the opportunity to check out a room with stairs leading up on the dock cause i walked past that area picking up fallen soldiers ammo and the time wave swept by reverting things to the past.

What are you talking about? The TMD doesn't make you go back in time, it reverts things to its old state. How could Kathryn have gone back in time when Renko used the TMD to revert the ship? We'll find out in the sequel anyway, which will be released in 2013.

Several questions exist. How did Mir-12 know of the events that happened? What caused that fire where Demichev was SUPPOSED to die in, and what caused that EMP blast that stranded you on the godforsaken island in the first place? Also, what about everyone else besides Renko and Devlin and Titan One? What happened to them? Perfect setup for a sequel.

Maybe the sequel will be about one of them.

@oBLACKIECHANoo A bit late, but to answer your question, she didn't. She wrote that, allowing Mir-12 to form. Since Mir-12 formed, Kathryn from a DIFFERENT TIMELINE joined Mir-12 to help Renko, which would also be from a different timeline, but the same timeline as Kathryn from the different timeline. Weird.

No.. It's because the ship reverted back into it's old state.. and since she was in the ship during the effects of the TMD reverted, she went back in time too.

@camman44 That's a good question. According to the game, she would've been killed without using the TMD (which she obviously doesn't have). We may never know

@GamerClipz Personally what I think is that when the Pearl reverted it took everything on it back with it. Or somehow, it just ripped time and space again. I mean, when we're already seeing things that alter time, the idea of another rift in time opening (Think that's what the term was) and pulling her through isn't too hard to believe.

When The Pearl went all explody after the E99 energy ran out, she was probably catapulted back in time and wrote the MIR-12 book about Renko.
