  • 5 people dont have brain

  • Next . Surrogates.

  • now, made PET (neuroimaging) for consumers.

  • This video was posted in 2007. WHY DON'T WE HAVE THIS YET!!!!

  • @BackwardAssassin if your in america wait a couple of years or just move to the safe part of japan

  • @BackwardAssassin uhm... google? the second result for "neurosky" is their store...

  • yay

  • Should read: "Evenutally Illogic wants to build thought-controlled robots for the military"

In the future war will be fought with thought, and of course with robots and lasers.

  • This sounds awesome! :) Im lookin foward to see what more kinds of things there will be in the future!, Lets practice how to acctivate our "medication" xDDD

No but srsly this is awesome :)

  • yeahh a midi controller for live perfromances, baaam. i do hope some big animals in the music bizz are keepin an eye on this :)

  • ooOOOooooh, they made a test level in HL2!

    GIMMIE! :D

  • Fantastic!!!!

Controllo con la mente (menta list)

  • Soo gotta be in the Wii2 or SNES2

  • kinda dangerous, what if you were in the wheelchair and you wanted to cross the street and you just kind of thought about crossing it, but you didn't want to?

  • @bigfatllama The same way you can think about something and not do it. You will know that thers thought A that will move you forward, and though B that will simply imagine the motion and not activate the wheelchair. So, once you get used to it, you won't 'just think' about it, becouse you will know that it has a response, just like moving your arm.

  • I love it...... they were using HL2 (possibly Garry's Mod) for testing on the PC. LOL

But guess what people- For those of you who know computers, you should know of OCZ. They make quality RAM. They also however produce the NIA, Neural Impulse Actuator, which is a similar concept, that people are using today to play Call of Duty, Half Life, all kinds of games. Look it up- it's close to $100.

  • if this was in 2007 and its 2010 now i want my mind games NOW.

  • it gives you cancer!

  • I'm wondering.. What's the future holds??!!!

  • Leading the way.

  • game looks like garrys mod

  • @slw2222 its a HL2 mod they made.

  • @slw2222 I hate people like you who think Gmod is a standalone game, and never heard of Half-Life. It's so annoying.

  • @Olemguy the cake is a lie and Gordan Freeman kicks ass for a physicist.

  • @slw2222 You misspelled Gordon. I AM DISAPPOINT! >:(

  • as if us Americans werent fat and lazy ENOUGH

  • technically you do already control things with your mind via electrical impulses which trigger muscles xD

  • they used the source engine! wtf! wonder if they paid valve anything for using their video game engine.

  • about time..typing and the mouse is so september 10

  • cool, so when are we going to Mars than for weekends?

  • Accisma

Yeah I played another game years ago (before 2007) at my school :)

It was pretty hard (at times) because you really have to relax, but also be able to "unrelax" :P (people doing yoga etc would be in an advantage)

And because of this I dont see soon applied on the things they mention in this video (I dont think it's very reliable since most people cant just "turn their mind on and off" that easily and blinking with your eyes while operating in space or doing surgery..nah ;-)

  • when is gonna be released in USA and what price?

  • @TheCreamerguy it came otu already its sells for $199

  • 200 dollars

  • sure

  • Riiiiiiiight, whatever. Since you watch the media and believe what they say. now me, I don't watch TV, so I don't get sucked in.

  • that is why people will believe in anything. I don't because I know the media can make people believe what they say.

  • what? you acutely believe this crap? come on...

  • What do you mean, it's nothing paranormal it's just brainwaves and computer algorithms, it is as real as your toaster!

  • this really looks like it is running source engine. I bet its gmod with and invisible phys gun and beam...

  • Harro guyz rook at mi brain contrower.

    fucking kim jong.

  • Asshole. Your display of intelligence tells me you wouldn't even be able to lift a pencil with that technology

  • Garry's Mod Ftw :D!

  • if this ever comes out.. i will get it lol that's crazy.. mind control cars and shit xD

  • 1:21 = lollage

  • LOL!!!

  • 2 years later = nothing happend.

  • You really think it would go directly to us, the consumers?

  • quier probarlo a ver que tal!!!

  • Oh my God, imagine playing real Garry's Mod... WITH YOUR MIND! 0.o

Griefers would be 10x as worse though.

  • This is just the beginning. ... I want to apologize in advance.

  • 0:43 - is gm_flatgrass lol

  • That braingame looks alot like Portal.

  • Hey you know those games that get banned becuase they are too violent...I wonder how this will affect the cooking time on all those wonderfull physcopaths lol

  • I want a action/psychic game out of this and a Star Wars game with this stuff. You can re-enact the scene with Luke pulling his lightsaber out of the ice! or training with Yoda! .....Luke: "I don't believe it!" Yoda: "That is why you fail."

  • a bit scary to think that your brainwaves and sometime maybe even your thoughts will be monitered through the net.

    big brother is watching.

  • could the patriot act include brainwaves? can they do that???

  • i was just looking at all my remote controls by my side, seems like they will be a thing of the past.

  • thats fucking insane

  • it is

  • Incredible but with scary applications. Apparently they want this used in schools, to see who is and isn't paying attention. We'll all be wearing these in the future. That said, the videogames are gonna be awesome. :D

  • Red pill/Blue Pill Enter the Matrix!

  • garrys mod jajaja

  • amazing!

  • this is the coolest thing i have ever seen.

  • shit shit shit dan xD

  • Neourosky will own it's competitor emotiv. Emotiv is 300$ and it dosn't work well. But this is cheap and at the demostrations it works a lot better than emotiv and at a fraction of the price.

  • I think Emotiv will own Neurosky. Emotiv got 16 or 18 sensors, while Neurosky only got 1.. That has a lot to say because its supposed to pick up brain signals. Emotiv might look like it doesn't work well now, but remember, 5 months untill its release, a lot can happen while we are w8ing. Emotiv looks so much better than Neurosky, it seems like u can do much more stuff with the emotiv too.

  • i can put up a shitload of sensors on my head too, but that doesnt make my apertuare better than neurosky..

  • I would say, more sensors makes it easier to put up these signals than just 1 sensor.

  • Remember that NeuroSky has a distribution contract with Square Enix, so probably you will see more NeuroSky's devices out there in the wild. Also, the Emotiv is to the NeuroSky what the IntelliMouse Explorer was to common mice long ago (common mice drove the necessity to have better tracking sensors), so expect in the future more devices like the emotiv. I guess playing Star Wars Brainwave Edition will be the coolest game in the world, concentrating to use the force (Death grip!! HAHAHAHAHAHA)

  • Hehe, yea

  • What the...? I want that thing!!!!

  • When people use Neurosky and similar products, the people will forget even the easiest things in the real world, like picking up a pencil - which has fallen to the floor. They have to learn it again - from therapists and advisors. Prometheus - where are you?

  • lol they use hl2 gmod

  • damn..ppl wont move anymore...that's the negative side..i guess

  • I want to use that for the Half life 2 mod they were showing.

  • fuckin hell just imagine usin that wi the next GTA, god knows wot people can think to kill people

  • would be awesome to play gmod with you mind!

  • Thats it, were living in another Scientific Revolution.

Only its like the "Computer Revolution" or something.

  • they already said $20

  • ACtually $50.

  • that's the kind of stuff that we imagine in the future but we don't expect ever to see it, at least not for a long while..

If it helps anyone I heard that the headset will cost $50 if bought in bulk. So maybe it'll be about $100?

  • i expect to see it pretty soon - why not? look how far they've got already, it's basically just a matter of tweaking it...

  • the game looks like gmod :p

  • It IS Gmod.

    Damn,I want that addon.

  • its too expensave

  • Yeah,it probably is. Damnit.

Oh well,I can dream atleast. D:

  • OCZ NIA is much more advanced. :-)

  • pinches chinos jodidos de mierda no tienen nada mas ke aser mas ke inventar mamdas ke se vallan a la jodida todos los chinos ijos de su chingadita china madre

  • I can't wait to use the Force to choke my opponents to death! (:

  • holy damn crap! this is f***ing amazing i want 1

so that I can throw whatever I want without moving my hands to my stupid my brother. Lol

  • that is one of the most amazing things i have ever seen, is the cursor also controlled by mind or by a mouse?

  • any word on a release date??

and are there any articles that can be read to see if this will actually help with development n telekinesis?

  • Around Christmas of this year. And no, it doesn't work like that at all.

  • really? why wouldn't it work just how it was shown? ... im wondering.

  • well when they come out in america they will positivly be the fatest country

  • hahahah lol your so damn right!!!

  • I want one

  • Jesus christ... We live in the future.

  • its gmod isnt it??

  • I tried one. it was hard to do.

  • Awesome .. Breaking through to the next level ... Hold on folks .. Its starting to speed up now.

  • Nice.

  • when is it in europe??

  • I guess they have made a mod from HL2 to use this...

  • Half-Life 2 still has the best physics of any game out there.

  • Next year? Wow.

  • Why is it using Half Life 2 as a base game?

  • Because Half-Life 2 has a good physics engine. Probably the only reason lol. And it's probably just using the source engine, they could easily make a mod just to show this, that's probably what they did.

  • sweet.

  • DO WANT. Also wants to lift real people :3

  • DO WANT.

  • HL2 ftw...

  • In the other hand, wireless dildos...

  • This will kick ass if it works smoothly.
