  • @watwatwhywat so what if s/he was? =P

  • I liked it a whole bunches. It feels good in my brain.

  • yummy noises bro!

  • wow that was spacey...cool dude.

  • Thanks for the video ! I bought a wibrain and was checking if it was any good for music.

  • this is really cool,im really liking this!

  • whats the deal with the visual feedback on the padkontrol? is that from the setup in ableton? ive seen it in a few padkontrol videos but never found an option for that so i've assumed its from totalkontrol or something.

  • no, I can't remember right now where (I am not in front of the controller right now-it is a shift function)- but there is a 'display' setup that has a few options for the pad light response- you can do chasing or such on the pad lights

  • Greatest portable live setup ever. Well done :D

Now a technicle question. Do you render and cut up your patterns first before bringing them into live? I produce most of mine on the fly with synths and effects in midi sequences in live and ive come to the point that its just too much to handle on the fly changes for live performances. Seeing this vid got me inspired to go the chop and simplify my setup.

  • I render pieces out and setup via triggers- some of the things I do choke my laptop up (which is a dual core 1.8 w/ 2 gigs of mem)since I do a lot of chopping/resequencing of .wav's @ 190bpm+ - some is still done live and all of the post effests run and are controlled live, but a lot of the resequenced loops have to be rendered in chunks in order to keep from jagging out the memory live

  • omg... i must marry you

  • SICK where did you get those samples ???

  • I do most of the loops in flstudio- I don't remember where I got the breaks- all of the distorted kiks were made with analog emulators

  • That was awesome. Battle Siytek!

  • Brilliant! Whormongr is progressing nicely, and the Wibrain seems a perfect addition to the rig. I especially like the use of the little stand, makes the whole thing look like a fancy MPC or something. Even the tiny screen seems to do the trick. Now if only it wasn't running Windows... heheh. ;]

  • I gotta get me one of those wibrain. I don't know much about what your doing but looks like that box did all the work. what did the wibrain do?

  • actually it is the wibrain doing all the work- the thing that I am hitting (korg padkontrol)and using the x/y on is a usb midi controller- I am using it to control ableton live that is running on the wibrain
