  • how can u afford all of these lights

  • @4crod

We all work hard every day and shop around for the best prices we can

  • @GearBuyersGuide That funny, just say "I have a job!"

  • You can't carry it bezel-up in a pocket. The head ends up literally leaning out of a pants pocket. Glad I tried it out at the B&M shop of an Authorized Dealer before buying it.

  • Your review did not provide any more information than from company.

  • @PMCWong1

    OK well

  • the best 120 bucks i've ever spent!! Mines a little over 2 years old and has never let me down even under heavy duty use.

  • In Singapore, the Surefire G2 LED already cost $124 =(

  • is that pocket clip removeable?

  • @22056379: no

  • e1b will run for almost 35 hours on 5 lumen setting

  • I hate the lack of grip of E1B !

That's why I am using the E1B head on a E1E black body and tailcap...now it has the same grip as my E1L and it's brighter :)

  • what a rip off for over a 100 bux

  • your opinion..

  • @spiritsword83 yeah you wouldnt last in the real world. is your life worth baseing it off of cheap shit?

  • @timeperection my 70 dollar 225 lumen fenix TK10 has been through real world hard use, and works like a charm. my light works very well in the real world, looks like your decision to buy something for its brand name is the joke here.

  • @spiritsword83

He is defending a US company employing US workers, making US products.. you are defending the opposite.

For a savings of what $14 - $20 ? (I see them new on ebay right now for under $90 all over the place

I really wouldn't call timeperection the joke here

  • @GearBuyersGuide Don't give me that defending American companies bullshit, because I am a conservative and know all about it. I try to buy American as much as possible, but when it comes down to products such as these, Surefire is overpriced and underpowered. Simple as that. Its akin to paying 100 bucks for a t shirt with an Italian name on it thats made in Sri Lanka. I KNOW Surefire makes great products. But they are overpriced and underpowered next to the competition, thats all.

  • @spiritsword83

    I don't agree at all.

Sounds like you are upset? Are you conflicted being a "convservative" and defending an almost 100% forign purchase like that?

I own fenix lights, and I resepct how well they are made.. in fact I carry one too

But I'll defend the Surefire purchase at just $20 more any day of the week .. to say the imports are better is just going too far, they simply are not

Your POV lost the US any lead with cars, TVs, Computers, and I'm sure flashlights will join them

  • @GearBuyersGuide Not upset in the least bit. Not defending Fenix, either. All I'm saying, SIR, is that I BELIEVE Surefire's are overpriced and underpowered compared to the competition. The build quality is excellent, the fit and finish are excellent, etc etc. I'm not saying one is better than the other, only that I personally, will pay less for a brand like Fenix, in order to get the most bang for my buck in the flashlight field. BTW, don't blame the comsumer for the US getting behind on...

  • @GearBuyersGuide technology, after all, the major corporations are the ones who choose to have their products made over seas to line their pockets in the first place. THAT's why we lost the lead. Talk about hypocrisy!

  • @spiritsword83 AND, while we're on the subject, Surefire is a niche company that makes products for a small percentage of civilian enthusiasts, but mostly to the United States and other military fields. For me to go "cheap" as you say on a tactical flashlight would hardly put a dent in our economy.

  • @spiritsword83

yea, small niche.. that includes the military, LEO, firefighters, etc ..

As for who is responcible for the 'economy' ..

"no single drop thinks it is responcible for the flood"

  • Sportsman had the backup for only $110. The light would be bad ass if the button wasn't so easaly turnd on when in your pocket! They aloud me to exchange for the E2d! The E2D is a bulb light not an LED! I bet the LED is briter, they didn't have the E2D in LED!

  • I got an E2D way better than the Back up because of the bezzel protecting the button! I could also hit an attacker if I so desire! I still thank you for your vids!

  • OK, I was just about to ask if you replaced it and with what

Did you go LED or bulb?

I have the bulb model, but the other guys here carry the LED model..

  • I took my back up back! What a pile of shit! No madder how I wore it light up or down, front or back pocket the damn thing found a way to turn on while in my pocket every time I sat down!

  • To much $

  • there is a point when you go over the edge and buy an expensive light .. sort of like when you start buying expensive knives..

I bought a few Surefires so far and it did take a bit of convincing from friends who had them..

I'm not sorry that I spent what I did though they really are good lights

  • Yea I'll get one of those surefire back ups just got to get the money! I have an old one & it already has saved my ass so manny times that it's worth it's weight in gold!

  • Me want! But $150 is realy a high price!

  • I just got mine and i love it. It's the best little flashlight ever.

  • the guys I know who own / carry these really like them too

  • I like Led Lenser P7 200 Lumen, and Led Lenser Police Tech Torch 108 lumen. Both made in Germany. (I personally like German or Japanese product as they have never failed on their quality production). But what is going on with flashlight world these days ? It seems everyone is trying to compete with one another. LOL!

  • thanks for the feedback, you are right, they all seem to go after the same markets

  • @urkingod Got a P5 and a P7 at home, both are great lights and uses commonly available batteries. I do like Surefire products especially the G2X Pro but what deters me from buying is the power source, CR123A is really expensive.

  • The beam on the light is incredible, can take place of a 3 D cell flashlight. The only gripe I have is the edges wears out, if that is important to you, to look good.

  • The E1 Executive is smaller. But this one's better.
