@darknumber000 Yeah but theres one constant to your theory batman has let this go on and on and on until joker went too far this time by killing his greatest creation and failure robin.
@Metalgear461 Yeah, but Batman learns to let go of those feelings, just like he learns to let go of the murder of his parents. Letting go took even more strength for Batman then letting his anger get the best of him, and that strength is what really kept Batman from falling down the path of a villain and criminal. That's why I know the real Batman wouldn't have killed the Joker. But it's still a great fan-made project! :D
Clearly this Batman has been taking advice from Micheal Keaton, and because of that his Gotham is more safe than any other version from the comics. lol
love the irony, the end of joker is the end of batman in this. he's gone against his parents will which means batman has dishonoured them and can carry on no more
OH that is complete and utter bullshit batman would never kill the joker he can't even kill any criminal. I mean read the comics he could never do it. but i do admire how great this scene is. and how the joker is messing with his mind making him break his code. it is just great
@saltireBLACKOPS he didnt acctually kill him. this is part of patient J. Joker is just imagining how his death would go down and is just imagining the incident. right after the vision is over he even claims batman cant kill him
It's funny how all these actors who play The Joker in these more low budget films try to emmulate Mark Hammill's Joker voice by trying to do the American/PoshEnglish type accent, but none are able to do it
Meh... Sorry to hear the guy died, but this is just a sad attempt at trying to copy Mark Hammil's masterful take on the Joker. WHY does everyone feel the need to just 'cut-and-paste' instead of bringing something fresh and new to the table?
I imagine the Joker pushing Batman to such extremes to make Batman SHOOT HIM several times. And after you see Joker's dying smile with the satisfaction that he FINALLY turned Batman into a killer....
...we then see Joker being revived, strapped down to a gurney in the batcave and being kept alive by the most sophisticated medical technology imaginable. Joke's on YOU, buddy. ;P
Sloppy. Dark Knight Returns proved that Batman even at his most dangerous could never kill The Joker. The only thing that could ever kill The Joker in that book was THE JOKER. I think his death would be more a karmic joke though. Like if his body began rejecting the Joker poison he'd built up a tolerance to over so many years. One last monumental attempt to destroy Gotham while laughing and bleeding to death from every hole in his body is absolutely his style.
Okay, so as good as this little is. I have one problem with it. It goes against everything Batman is. Ultimately this is not only the death of the Joker, but the death of Batman as we know it.
i like fan films and to me the only joker that just was right was the one from the animated movie under the red hood all the characters were perfect and it proofs the joker just wants to look like a bad ass be a villain for hire but also wants to bring batman and comisioner gordon to there breaking point of insanity to kill the joker so they can be just like him
probably the worst batman and joker impersonations iv ever seen. you people are pretty much retarded for thinking this is better then the REAL batman movies
This is the best joker. Perfect mix of Mark Hamill's flair and charm, Jack Nicholson's batshit insanity and Heath Ledger's tangible threat and anger...
The guy that played the joker in this fim was Andrew Koenig who committed suicide earlier 2010.
Kevin Smith called this film "possibly the truest, best Batman movie ever made", and comic book artist Alex Ross praised it as "Batman the way I've always wanted to see him"
@brijii No, this is part of Aaron Schoenke's Patient J, with Paul Molnar as the Joker. You are talking about Sandy Collora's Batman Dead End, with Andrew Koenig as the Joker.
@brijii I didn't know that, I thought he made a good joker in "Batman - Dead End" Well I could agree with you when you say this is the truest batman fanfilm ever.
@whiskeyinthejaro12 Yeah, he did. The comic writer 'Grant Morrison' had him try to shoot Darkseid at the end of Final Crisis. Then Darkseid shot him with his "omega beams" which seemingly killed him, but actually sent Bruce Wayne back to the stone age. He's been time traveling at random ever since. Basically, Grant Morrison should be shot and banned from writing anything, ever again.
Paul Molnar played what I thought was the best comic book image of the Joker in this series of videos from Bat In The Sun Productions. I loved the moon shaped face of his character. He looked really scary. Since The Joker Blogs did a series of videos with their Joker actor that kept me in suspense and waiting for more, I'm sure Bat In The Sun has a few surprises of their own with their Batman series. Let's stay tuned.
I think this joker is the very similar to comics and Mark Hamill's version (the animated, of course). I wish to go to a comic con where Paul Molnar is...
too bad for the joker, because not only did batman died a while ago (i know he is returning but he doesn't know) and the first robin is following his steps, but even if bruce returns to his duty, he has already broke his own rule of not using a gun and attempt murder when he shot darkseid before getting killed and mortally wounding the newgod, the joker has failed already in his mission since someone else already made him broke his own bow and will most likely never do it again
@GothamzJoker batman in the sun productions. City of scars was their latest one. in spite paul molnar was the same jocker of patient j, he lacked charisma and makeup effect in the other. that's why I put that.
how joker can barely get out with he says before batman punches him in the face. Great acting and emotion in that part and the whole scene. Also how joker taunts all the people he's killed and batman turns and punches him again.
this was fan made?holy shit the guy who acts as joker is just crazy,i'd like to see him in a real batman movie but we all know what happened the third robin was turned to joker jr and then shot the real joker and had to recover and you know what happens next

Yeah, Batman doesn't kill. Its a line he won't cross. In the graphic novel, The Dark Knight Returns. He had no choice but too kill the joker. But in A Death in the Family, it was more of a stalemate. The actors playing in this scene are very good, even Batmans suit and Jokers makeup were very well done. The only thing I would suggest would be too have the Joker wear a darker Purple suit, and maybe have Harley in it. Maybe a sequel? Well done.
