My Dad had this on 8 track. My brother and I when we were elementary school used to cry when we hear this song because we thought this song was so sad.
that's deep--looking back, for the melancholic overtones are indisputable--unignorable, perhaps, though the live versions leave a lot to be desired what with the looped female voice being mimed by one of the regular musicians.
