  • Nice rifle, but I cringe every time I see a rifle laid on its bolt.

  • Every time I hear this sound from the rifle in my hands I instantly come with the power of a thousand suns.

  • Sweet man. Grand is still the best battle rifle ever made...

Still the rifle I wanted since I was a boy...

I have one now and it is my favorite.

It shoots better than my Socom16

  • Great video that sound is amazing

  • Sweet

Better grab a Garand while you can. The best deal out there is to get one directly from the Civilian Marksmanship Program. CMP is selling out!

Prices at gun shows are off the chart. The CMP sells Garands for less than $700 shipped directly to your door, except if you live in NJ. Thank Mr. Christie for that.

Seriously, check the CMP webpage for more info. You need to join an CMP affiliated club like the M1 Collectors Club or your State Rifle Association. NRA members do not qualify.

  • *jizz*

  • To think that your on the wrong end of a 30-06 yet close enough to here that ping... it ain't good for the bad guys... but that's WAR! General G. Patton said "The two most important implements in ending WWII was the jeep and the M1Garand rifle" Thank you Mr Garand, "Canada's favorite son" for the battle rifle that won the War on all fronts.

  • hot damn i love that sound. the sound of a true american weapon.

  • i am a loser too, and i just subscribed. :)

  • @yocam420 I'm the biggest loser here...just ask 155Millimeter.

  • You love that dang rifle, Go ahead admit it..

  • @mpett2 Damn right. The M1 is the rifle I've wanted to get ever since I was a younger lad.

  • @millerusaf im 17 and we use this rifle for JROTC drill. when i get some serious cash in my pocket i hope to have a m1 garand and a m1911

  • I do like your videos

  • Nice your going to drive your wife nuts....I suppose your watching band of brothers now.

  • stop being a troll.

  • @StayClutch1 lol..I'm not being a troll. :)

  • damn that gives me half a hard on, great rifle man, congrats on the new purchase im cerealy jelly

  • Waiting to hear that after you empty a full one of those

  • Well, I believe it's going to be a little while until I get mine. I have to buy an old Bronco to drive around and chase cattle in. We are retiring the POS mail Jeep. Fucker.

  • man that thing is nice... whered you pick it up from?

  • I love that sound.

  • Ur just a loser it ok

  • @AkJohn74 *sniff* *sniff*

...thanks for watching all my videos. I know how you love them so much. :)

  • I love that sound.

  • after shooting a rifle you would not be able to here a ping .....

  • that sound killed a many a man

  • Sounds like crap

  • @AkJohn74 <----- birth certificate is an apology letter from the condom factory.

  • Sounds like freedom!

  • GOD I love that sound.

    I miss my M1 :[

  • The key to preventing Garand thumb is proper implementation of the bolt. Simply assure the bolt is retracted firmly and completely to the rear. Experiment with your bolt. You should find that the bolt can be retracted to a position that gives the impression it is fully retracted, when it is not. This is the Garand thumb position.

  • awesome sound..somedey i guna buy this

  • You only get M1 Thumb if you aren't paying attention. When you're loading at the range, you're not gonna get it. When you're sitting on the couch fondling your newly acquired M1 Garand and watching TV at the same time not paying attention, you'll probably get it.

  • I was watching Saving Private Ryan the other day and heard that clip ejection sound throughout the movie. Nice.

  • Moar !!1!

  • Needs more ammo!

  • Looks like the new rifle came in! Fun shootin!

  • The sound of the trolls of WW2. ;) Fantastic rifle. Wish I had one

  • Sweet. Congrats on finally getting a real man's rifle. :D

Can't wait for the run-and-shoot vids with his heavy beastie. 8-)

  • nice

  • Gotta Love that sound. *Pinggg* I can still hear it.

  • very nice

  • Once heard, you never forget it!

  • @1shot2kilu Ever bites your thumb and you will not forget that either.... my first M1 Thumb was 1969 .... still hurts ! That day I realized how much I missed my Blankie .

  • One time at the range a guy next to me was shooting one I put down my SKS and got a.bit.closer...he turned around after and asked if everything was ok... I told him I just HAD to hear that sound...then we both started.cracking up.....pure bliss

  • M1 Garand for the WIN.

  • Yep. : )

  • Show off lol

  • Man i just had an eargasm!

  • Cool

  • that is one of the most beautiful sounds in the world

  • go for points on paper. just pick a target that has a 10 ring and an x ring in the center. the nra 25 yard pistol target would be good but you may have to shorten it to 100yds

  • the germans listened for that sound then rushed the troops. but the troops kept empty clips to lure them out bu bouncing it off something. then they would shoot them... nice rifle btw. now make a vintage rifle competition video. nothing special, 200 yds standing or sitting.

  • @danthman114 Should I use steel or go for groups?

  • @millerusaf show an clean target and walk back then shoot slow fire loading single rounds. 10 rounds

  • @danthman114 Sounds like a plan. I'm gonna find some good, common targets. I could do that this weekend if the weather isn't too crappy.

  • @millerusaf or use a print off target so everyone can print one off. ill send you the link to put up on the video.

  • @millerusaf go for the groups...I wanna see just how accurate that thing is. Thanks

  • @danthman114 That never happened you moron.....

  • @omgwaffels96 what never happened... moron

  • @danthman114 Whoa, that's a very bold statement. I would like to see a source on that, because in a lot of environments the sound of a 30-06 will drown the ping.

Plus, during combat there would be a lot of firing from both sides and pinging from the American side.

I doubt you could hear the pings during intense combat.

  • @bf2lover42 ask a ww2 vet

  • @danthman114 Did you?

  • @bf2lover42 thats what my grandpa said. you can also find it online.

  • nice.

  • So, the Ping sound occurs when the clip gets ejected and hitting a hard ground. Interesting.

  • man i love that sound

  • I heard that sound.......playing COD2

  • Mine is made by international harvester how about yours.

  • @SOUTHERNANDPROUD1861 Springfield Armory with an HRA bolt.

  • Well, if you had a fight coming, and you had those. You got out numbered, you had to be stealthy, if the people attacking, knew what you had, they would know when you was out. That would be the perfect weapon to take to shtf, or zombie apocalypse.

  • @isamtator They use to carry empty clips and throw them on the ground to fool them into thinking they were reloading.

  • @gilyardk I was getting ready to post the samething when you did it lol

  • @gilyardk Yeah, I still think it is the perfect gun for a shtf, or zombies 30-06 go through several zombies, if you get the steel core ammo might go through more than one. .223 5.56 would take out one guy.

  • Nice, should be a ring tone.

  • @gilyardk if you have a droid look it up on Zedge
