@AvailabileUsername i dont think so cause the AI(even when there is no smoke) misses you a lot so the smoke grenade dosent help you for missing the shots(i think so)
When you stay in front of that rifleman without smoke, and you arent moving, they will hit you in just about 3-6 shots, and through the smoke they can still hear you, and are alerted, because smoke grenades arent lying around normally, and they wont detonate when not an enemy or friendly (btu he would report it to you) are throwing them.I watched your other vid too! The shouting isnt as accurate as it would be without smoke!!!!

This guy is completely right, I noticed this annoying glitch on one of the campaign missions "bleeding edge". Where you have to take out all those AT gunners near that station; a load of smoke gets laid down and I was like"great, ill just advance right up to the smoke in the open..." but got absolutely peppered within a matter of seconds. Very irritating, and it really needs fixing. Although i've completed the game now, annoying.

The AI player is facing in the opposite direction when he spawns, that is why he does not open fire even though im standing infront of him, because he is looking the opposite way. I then drop the smoke and shoot to alert him. He then turns and even though the smoke is there he fires accurately at me every time I move position. I am not the only person to test this, all test videos prove the same, the AI is capable of tracking, targeting and killing you through smoke.
but the smoke is meant to make the ai NOT target you accurately but the video shows that even with smoke the ai will still be able to target you accurately
The ai are shooting blindly into the smoke or you would have died alot faster than that plus wouldn't you fire into the smoke knowing the enemy was going to go through there
I am currently uploading another video to further show this problem. The reason I died when the smoke went away is because I was already majorly injured from being shot THROUGH the smoke earlier. Smoke has no effect on the AI, they can see through it and shoot you with no problems at all.
