@Ful1tilt Depends on the game and how dedicated you are to the run. I made a TAS of Zelda A Link to the Past. The time for that was 1 hour and 16 minutes and took be about 6 months to do. I wasn't working every of course. But many many hours were put in it. You need a lot of patience and dedication to do such thing. But it's a very fun process =).

@athleteization A really cool thing is that you can record just the commands from a TAS , not as a video itself ; so everyone with the exact same emulator (and no bad laggs etc.) can just input them in the emulator and the game plays it ; so you can even see it in real and make your own savesgames from it ^^

@athleteization It stands for tool assisted speed run, meaning that although the player is being given many advantages through the program they're playing it on, it's still up to them to play, and being human, they aren't going to do it perfectly. Only the simplest of games can be completed perfectly by computers. Banjo Kazooie would be far too complicated to program a perfect run.
