kinda think this series ans 2 3 4 were more realistic than series 5,6 cos the tardis looks more industrialised / grungier here and the new series with matt smith is good but iv found series 6 really bad and hard to understand most episodes, plus the entire river song being amy and rory's daughter grown up too far to explain even for steven moffat. miss these episodes and billie pyper, episodes with ecclestone tennant were more emotional and balanced :(

What I loved about nine, was how it was like he was travelling the universe because he felt he owed it to the universe, because he was the last of the time lords. But he was always trying to have as much fun as possible while doing it. He'd tell the monsters that they were wrong, and he was going to stop them; and that's exactly what'd happen. His character was by far the most believable character, and although I like to favour all doctor's equally, nine deserved a much longer run.

Every time I see this trailer I can't help but to think that it was such a tremendous missed opportunity to have had him say, "Fantastic." But then again, that train of thought only happens AFTER we have seen the whole first series, because by then we knew his "fantastic" phrase. As a trailer, we had no idea.. but that still doesn't stop me from thinking he's going to say "fantastic" instead of a "trip of a lifetime" every time, LOL! Oh, Nine, I miss you! =)

Series 1 still looks fresh and original and to this day is one of the best series of New Doctor Who ever. Tennant was still very good but I will always prefer Eccleston, it was WAY more exciting.

@Xerosch Yeah, just watch the specials after the seasons, they follow on from series 4. Oh and in the extras there's a Children in Need short that's between Series 1 and The Christmas Invasion, and another short between Series 3 and Voyage of the Damned. Enjoy!

Tennant is a good actor. But I always preferred Eccleston. I felt he could do more with one look than what Tennant can do with his entire face, voice and body movements. It is a shame that Eccleston didn't stay for at least one more season.

right, what you do is... go onto the disc with "Boom Town, Bad Wolf and The Parting of the Ways" on. When the main Tardis menu loads up, shift over to "Set Up", then hit the Down Arrow on your remote. A small Hexagon should appear. Select the Hexagon and the Trailer will begin.

The TARDIS console looks much better in series one of the new series than when David took over because of all that smoke and other effects they don't seem to use anymore. Weird... All it ever seems to do now is spark when things are going wrong. The steam coming off it in this trailer looks amazing in comparison.

Doctor Who never seems to follow up it's trailers properly. This, for example, set up a very dark atmosphere for the series. But RTD never really went for that in the end. Disappointing when I look back on this trailer, but the series came out just as good.
