Good as you think this was, it doesn't even really portray how good this guy really is. Six of us wandered into Ari Hest's performance while in Easton, MD this weekend and all of us were so impressed with his vocals. Being a singer myself, I have full respect for his range, control, wonderful falsetto--and also his guitar talents as well. I also thought he was pretty damn easy on the eyes, too. We met him after the performance and he is one heck of a nice guy too. I hope he goes very far.

Awesome rendition of this song!! Gives me chills. Too bad they let Michael Bolton ruin this song on DWTS..lol. At least I think it was the same song....I had to turn it off after the first 30 seconds of MB screaming it.;) Doesn't hurt that Ari is such a beautiful man either

I was a hood growing up with no regards for anything. Then I went to Vietnam at a very early age. I turned my life completely around and became Law Enforcement. And today, I thank God for dude's like Ari that can take such beautiful music and touch the soul of one's heart and make him feel glad that he/she is alive..... As a Jew she may have identified with him. He is talented, handsome & the question can be considered a natural one. I am Jewish and do not take offense to it being asked as long as it was not asked in a derogatory way. I like Ari but this cover is probably one of my least favorites of the songs he does. I prefer those done by Jeff Buckley, Matt Morris, Rufus Wainwright, and my favorite is probably that done by Bryce Ryness.

I have lisned to this song for many years now and every time i listen to it i get new meaning but everytime it makes me fell at peace...the song captures me in a way that i dont think i can explain...i love it and i have to agree with eesmolenski i would listen to this song everynight before i go to bed if i could for the rest of my life.
