your scorpion has mites. whenever you get the close up on it at the end you can see them. treat your scorpion as soon as possible for future reference because it stresses them out.

I don't know much about raising scorpions but I see a very tiny white insect(mite?) on the scorpion's head from 1:05 to 1:17.

It moves from near the top back of the scorpion's head to its left shoulders.

Can these tiny white insect things (mites?) be harmful to the scorpion?

I asked because I saw these white Ticks in brand new packs of substrates (eco-earth stuff) I was thinking of buying for my snake. I saw these white ticks and went with Aspen bedding instead.

My rose hair tarantula hasn't eaten for the past month. She hasn't lost any weight but I would like her to eat again, any advice? O and she hasn't molted in over a year and a half I think she is maybe in her last year of life. I got her when she was already full frown

It will dry out all bugs, arachnids and scorpians!!!!

The Ticks are harmeless to my snakes and will eventually die out in the scorpians tank after a few cleanings.
