  • I agree with the comment at 2:27---a very beautiful car. Almost as pretty as MOPAR

  • Who is Jim Wangers? He had nothing to do with the development of the GTO. He was a marketing manager for GM during the era. This is like saying Bill Gates invented WIndows and the GUI interface.

Put the glory where it belongs. John DeLorean, Bill Colllins and Russ Gee. Wangers even said so in his book Glory Days.

    Accolade fail.

  • @USAon3 This is not a bad place too to have been a marketing manager for GM.

  • Get his book, "Glory Day's" "When horsepower and passion ruled Detroit" it is a awesome book, with plenty of insight!

  • BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH

  • PONTIAC, KING OF THE ROAD!!!!

  • also in the movie sex drive

  • all true judges do have that color

  • Negative, the GTO Judges were available in several colors, Orange was just the most popular.

  • Yeah, I had a 1970 Judge that was green

  • @surf403 Carousel Red (same color aka: Hugger Orange for Chevy) was the only color available for the first run of The Judge, and then other colors were released after for more color/stripe choices. I've seen blue, red, yellow, green, black, white...but yes, the orange (Carousel red) was by far the most popular color choice the first year.

  • Thank God for men like Wangers, DeLorean, and Lutz. Without them, Pontiac would have died and the American Iconic muscle car the G.T.O. would have never existed.

    Go Go GTO

  • Im not too familiar with the old GTO's. Could some one inform me on what makes it a Judge?

  • It was about a $400 option from 1969-1971. Standard RA III & Optional RA IV. Hurst T-Shifter (w/ man. trans.) Special striping, rear wing, Rally II wheels with no trim rings. Rally guage package, hood tach. Low restriction mufflers, and blacked out grills. Of course "The Judge" decals to match the stripes. Engine changed to 455 H.O. in 71'

  • The biggest difference is the Ram Air engine imo.

  • here come da judge

  • This car appeared on the movie"The last Ride",with Dennis Hooper.

  • I'm so glad Jim is still making the circuit.

It's too bad DeLorean isn't around to share the glory. He would have been proud.

  • Good job with this interview.
