  • @GreenRad2012 so true

  • i love this ...thats how much i feel

  • Music WAS good once upon a time, but then so was society. Things got ugly after the 70s-80s and so did music. Niggers ruined it with their rap crap and it's been heading downhill since.

  • @ TheVoiceofresistance For Your info" All blacks don't like rap music, you S.O.B. !!!

  • @51newmoney don't respond to that prick bastard.

  • This track proves that music WAS good at one time.

  • if you're a Professor Layton fan you will laugh at the name of the band.

  • Pop/Rock music was certainly at a level all to it's own when this song and so many others were written and/or recorded but I'd say this song in particular is among the best of an awesome era in music ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I call these types of feel good songs "natural high" music

  • i think everybody can relate to this song......past loves more than a few nights crying into your pillow wow so sweet and brings me back to when i was a wee lass thanx for posting..............

  • this song is very deep. So few understand it. Cry more then just a little.

  • I just love this song. Music that touches the heart. Heartfelt lyrics. True words. Now music just doesnt do the work for those in love. This is deep. OMG! Miss it

  • 2 bad they don't make music like dis anymore!!

  • Love this song.

  • The best songs will live forever. I still listen to Johnny Mathis from the fifties and the Seekers from the sixties, and I think this was the best time for music. Then I hear another oldie and think it's the best. The crap songs are forgotten. Listen to some of the swing from the 40's and it's awesome, too. Go all the way back to the early years of our country and the Civil War. Some of those songs are still around today.

  • boy does this bring back memories love this song this song will be in my heart forever it will never grow old thanx for posting it hello baby

  • god, these songs take me back to simpler times and teenage heartbreak. loive the 70's pop rock

  • Nothing like driving my Black GTO V-8 stick - heavy duty clutch!!! - had to sell the car cause I didn't have the strength to engage the clutch!!! I loved that car - those were the days......I miss that car...and thanks for posting this song

  • I was unaware that this group was from San Pedro, CA.

I was born and raised there. Grew up listening to mostly

garbage. Never knew such great music had been made

    in my hometown! Great song!

  • @southbound310 Neither did I. Music remind me of Downtown LA for when going shopping with mom. All the dept stores use to play a lot of ambrosia music. After shopping, have luch at Chickenboy Restaurant.

  • @crenshawboy Had no idea where the group was from, but they definitely made an impact...even all the way across the states to New Hampshire! I listened to these guys and thought this stuff was great...way back in 1978. I've since been all over the world but still live in New Hampshire...and I still think it's great!!!

  • hi joseph depaola from nj thanks for your understanding. and your love of selfish blondes. but you are just following society.............and so was the blond who wanted to work and cheat on you. blame hebs and their rising of prices and changed family values.

  • I lived this in the late 70's. Tears flood my heart when I hear this song.

  • this is music. i was 14 years old when this came out. it and songs like it will never grow old. I think they get better with age...just like wine.

  • @TheWahoo65 Well said!! ; )

  • expresively sensual..

  • @sinewave100 soft rock

  • @zelotalot

    Thank you

  • Hey dumani26 - thank you, but might nice to have a great man by my side....one day perhaps then...one can dream. My pic is recent. I am almost 49 soon - no kiddin! Boring, workaholic, dramaless queens, who are kind, considerate, that like to go way overboard in the giving department, simply are NOT all the rage it seems, sadly. Gosh how much longer do I have to live like this?!... - geezo. I give... - best wishes to you, take care, and again I appreciate your time and kindness.

  • I just fell in love

  • what a great 70s song, very relaxing 2 listen 2!

  • @ TheTaxman67 i dont think so its just great music i was born in the 80's and i still go back to it everytime they dont make music like this anymore :(

  • 70's rule!

  • WOW dorrisdenise - everyone in cyber land should be sooooo lucky! Mine left and have been sick ever since - sucks really bad! Here I sit clueless and brokenhearted. SAD!

  • @estelladog1 u r strong

  • David Pack's voice is SO AWESOME in this song.

  • beth i remember this song because you sang it to me miss u

  • Wow, what memories this brings back :)

  • This song reminds me of growing up in San Diego, and listening to the B100 lol

  • I,m an old impressionable. You actually never out grow it.

  • love this also.

  • Nothin like being in the 70's driving a muscle car listening to this music on the coast highway back when times were slower

  • @grabbber i just bought a 71 maverick and this is on my playlist. noone is allowed in the car unless they can sing along to at least 1 song from this era. i may let you drive if you can sing THIS song all the way through--to my car. i tell everyone show your elders some respect. the car is older than me.

  • @grabbber wish they were back!

  • I love how all the sheep gloss over the fact that he is basically saying "hey I'm married now, and have a wife. But I still think of this young chick when I'm fucking my poor unsuspecting wife. wow. great song.

  • @bassplayeroceanside You are so right on that one!!!

  • What a great song. Brings back memories of senior year in HS, 1978.

  • I thought these guys were black.

  • well ur wrong

  • Real Class.

    God I loved the 70s...

  • I was born in 1988 but I deeply appriciate this song it is a beautiufl masterpiece, everytime I hear it I fall in love with it even more...

  • 13 dislikes??? some folks seriously need hearing aids big time! This song rules!

  • Awesome song...the vocals just blow me away....

  • THAT'S HOW MUCH I FEEL. Wow, what an ethereal song, thank you, Castle! :D

  • tax man thats not true im 16 sorry for my generation for ruining music i love punk rock and pop punk

  • Hey, 70's music was , and is still awesome! I was 15 when this was a hit, and still love it!

  • I agree with the TheTaxman67, I was born in 67 so I was only about 12 at the END of the seventies. I had an older brother who, I guess, when he listened to the radio it got ingrained in me and effected my soul on some deep level. Even though I was so young I have such powerfully strong, positive emotions that well up inside of me when I hear these songs and similar ones from the seventies. I do not ever get such emotions from todays music.

  • Sometimes your best loves are short. ? after all that was said and done i wiil love and miss her forever !!!

  • wherever u are greg..i still love u and i know u still love me too

  • Great song, wherever you are Rosie still love you.

  • Real music!

  • I

    LOVE

    THIS KIND

    OF

    MUSIC

  • had no idea when this song was released because I've always known it, gosh 1978...I was 2 yrs old, music stored in my memory from babyhood, good stuff right here

  • Ok, i take it back. All 70,s love songs are the best ever

  • This is the song that I felt when I gh my disorce!

  • For all those who believe this song sends a message of deceit or dishonesty in a relationship, just sit back and understand it is about love lost. Only one person walked on this earth that was perfect and we are not Him. However, we are loved, understood, and forgiven… not judged for our human feelings. This is an amazing and powerful song that reaches deep into one’s heart.

  • There was a day when a song like this was played on the radio...as opposed to Jay Z, Lady Gaga & Kanye West. Real talent on the airwaves is extinct.

  • Timeless!!!

  • Omg! I am so heartbroken right now! The love of my life had her lover call to tell me it's over. I couldn't believe it so I asked to speak to them and they confirmed that they had fallen in love with someone else. I feel like I am dying inside right now! How can someone be so heartless? I don't understand! I gave my all and still got hurt! Why does love mean nothing to anyone anymore? What happened to true love????

  • This is a smooth jam right here

  • @spockles that's for sure

  • i usually don't like love songs ( iguess that's what this is) but i will make an exception in this casae

  • timeless,I just soak into you like rain,I will never get enough! I don;t know how this whole business startt.ear it I need to hed? bu

  • The contrast between the quality of this music and what is recorded now is breathtaking.

  • The eleven idiots who disliked this songs probably like the gaga freak. Pretty sad and not just because you don't this great song but in agreement with "thegreatbunghio21" it is completely sad what passes as music and artists too for that fact. Gaga my ass!

  • @ashlovesherson I agree with you!!!!! Lady Gaga Is such a fucking slutbag Whore

    Who can go fuck herself!!!!!!

  • Is it ok if I cry like I always felt like doing when I listened to this?

  • this is the kind of songs that last forever in the number one of all times

  • Omgg!!!! This song is still amazing in 2011!!!!!!! This is music!!!! Real music!!! Absolutely beautilful!!! Can you feel me???

  • its a timeless piece. It's sentimental, shmaltz, and wonderful.. As E Kubler-Ross said, smutlz is good and the shmuatlzier the better...

  • This is one the songs of he 1970's. It's melody is timeless. Melody is something that most of today's songwriters know nothing about.

So much emphasis on beat - not melody. So sad. This song brings back great memories of dancing with my girlfriend.

David's voice was so great but underrated as was the band. Thank God their music lives on as do my memories.

  • only concert I went to was Ambrosia and foriener at riverfront colisium. great show.

  • Before my time but so awesome! O:

  • 1978 ....I was a Senior in High School......many many many memories associated with this one!

  • Summer of 78... takes me right back there... man the seventies was so musically diverse, not like today... and these were REAL musicians.

  • I wonder where these gay boyz are today? Brings back memories of the Hudson Brothers.

  • sometimes when we make love i still see your face!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrBubbakilla but I have been dead for 8 years let it go I have.

  • love you bud..............

  • Take hold of my hand and bring me back to 1978.

  • I wish someone loved me like this,geez..Im always the one that loves this deep though :(

  • This song is dedicated to someone very special! For so many reasons!!! Too much to even try to explain! This person came into my life when I couldn't have possibly needed anyone anymore!!! She was a lifesaver! I was in a very abusive and hopeless relationship and she gave me hope again and showed me that I could still love and be loved! I will love her til the day I die if I live to be 100! I love her with all my heart and soul and always will! There will never be another her! NEVER!!!!!!!!!!

  • this song reminds me of a pinball joint i used to hang out at

  • this song still brings back painful memories of my high school sweetheart moving back to Oklahoma in our senior year...when she left, she promised she would be back and she would never stop loving me but the years slowly passed and I spent most nights in my room alone, listening to songs like this and feeling the sweet pain of heartache....I found out that she was pregnant shortly afterwards and never heard from her or saw her again..Joyce Lee Huddleston from Konowa, Oklahoma, that was you..

  • @AdamCoffin13 JESUS OK GENERAL SNOOPY DANCE....years slowly passing spending most nights in your room alone? I think we know why she didnt come back...your adult onset vagina was probably a turn off.

  • @Soundgasm I agree, pathetic huh...I admit it fully....

  • seriously i can listen 2 this, black sabbath, bob marley, it has no ceiling(70's music)

  • i dont know if its because i was young an impressionable, but, seventies music just seems so much better than anything else ever recorded. such a wide spectrum of music also.

  • @TheTaxman67 - i have that same belief.. 70's music has lyrics that are much deeper than the 80's, 90's, 00's and now.. and the music itself is better because you HAD to play really well to get the attention of music producers..

  • @TheTaxman67 i agree its gr8 musiq....

  • @TheTaxman67 well said...it was good music and so much variety, we had the end of the Motown Sound, the English music, rock n roll, disco and ballads galore. I always loved this song for different reasons. What impressed me was my good friend who is a "mans man" told me "That How Much I Feel Song on the radio is a great song" and this guy never shared his feelings. Its unfortunate we will never experience this era and sound again, and will have to live with the crap they play now.

  • @TheTaxman67 not at all this time of music people were into playing good music and most of us studied at Collegiate level and wrote music

    It was a special time

    check out Steely Dan

  • I played in the 70's!

  • let's go back to 1978!

  • @strafrag1 absolutely back to being 16 years old again for me in 1978 when quality mattered, not like the music industry today which is a - wasteland

  • @buxxzer10 you are so right! I was 25 then and life was so great!

  • @LADYLONEWOLF1 you are so right!

  • let's go back to 1978!

  • I am being rocked to sleep by MY MASTER..

  • I miss all of the good people that used to be in my life before they became aliens.

  • Still rings true today.....still thinking about you.

  • margret im sorry.i was young an stupid/now im just stupid..think about u all the time.hope ur having a good life.thats how much,,,,,,

  • not may people listen to the lyrics... this a song of a dude that still longs for his old girl friend.. in the last stanza tells his old girl that when he is with his wife, he still sees HER face.. its a love song, but its also a song of deceit.

  • @josez1 Really, the majority of people don't truly hear the lyrics of songs. It's a shame! So much art in the words alone. Really missin' out if you ain't takin' the time to listen.....

  • @josez1 I've listened to it carefully, it's very desolating, but it's a beautiful love song, when you think about it.

  • I always thought a black woman could really belt this song out with such emotion...

  • Love it. So many great memories.

  • yeah...what happened to this world of music....this was a favorite as a little kid in the late '70s

  • i miss this music too,,,,,those were the days of real talent

  • love this song good memories back in the days they dont make songs today like these and if u dont like them to bad dont listen...

  • miss this type of music...

  • Talk about the one who got away.....So Deep! I love this song....They don't make them like this anymore....so sad.....

  • Pop perfection

  • ..

  • love this tune man i miss these days ~~real music gone forever ~~ glad we can relive thru youtube:)))

  • Love the honesty in this song...especially when he talks about his wife....WOOOO THAT'S DEEP!!!! This has got to be the greatest record about "The One Who Got Away" ever laid down on track.

  • Very true. It was a different time and when you REALLY listen to this you can hear those cheer amazing backing vocals. WOW Every little piece is done to perfection. Done/Mastered/As excellence. A brilliant deep song with such a great story too.

  • :O)

  • wow, I thought only women felt like this.

  • Well, I have liked this since it dropped....when in the late 70s ? I know it reminds me of someone back then. Beautiful, timeless and so romantic and honest. I wouldn't mind being loved that much, honestly. : )

  • If this song dosent turn you inside out remembering past love, your not human.

  • No, it is not gone and will never be gone so long there are people like me and you and millions of others that know the difference like us that will continue to play it, write it,, respect it,,play it in front of people, care for it like you'd care for your child, record it,share it, enjoy it, are it and promote it.

  • 11 people can't feel very much

  • Much of today's music would be considered lazy compared to the music of yesterday.

  • just super!

  • Awesome song! Makes me cry when I realize how stupid I was to break with the lover I reconnected with after 35 years! To Steph- if you ever see this post, you KNOW how I still feel and will alway feel. "I still can see your face..." :-(

  • you don't have to be young or old to love this song, that's how much good of a song it is.

  • @MrMaier3000 Thank you! It is so real. I was very young when it came out and now I'm not and can still relate fully to this song and perhaps that one person that I never forgot. It's pretty profound.

  • @boomerang905 you're welcome, I'm 22 years old and I'm in love with all kind of song, no matter how old the song may be. Music is music

  • @MrMaier3000 Thanks and you are absolutely right. Good music is simply classic. Have a great Day! : )

  • Ambrosia's three ballard hits put the band in the all time top ten, bands. Biggest Part of Me, Keep Holding On and Thats How Much I Feel, the kind of timeless songs that will continue to be popular, world wide.

  • Pack's voice really makes this song........sooooo nice

  • oh yeeah! love this..:)

  • my group, oldies but goodies

  • im young but i love this song!

  • I OVE U BRENDA....

  • wonderful!

  • sometimes when we make love i still see your face , daaaaammmnnnn!!!

  • @74tmcentralc LOL you stole the words write out of my mouth.........been listening to this song for many years and that line still gets to me.

  • @74tmcentralc profound as hell!! I think both men and women have had this happen to them a time or two! We just dont admit it!! Awesome tune, love Firefall

  • ohhh! my goodness, what a beautiful voice... =)

  • These guys opened for Santana in Vegas when this song was big. I thought what a strange band to open for Santana. Got thrown out and arrested before Snatana hit the stage. What fun those days were.

  • This is one of my favorite songs even though its about longing for another woman. It still makes me want to crawl in bed with my husband when I hear it. Music from the 70's was the best of all time.

  • so, where do you go to find people that appreciate good music? I go you classic's in YT where people still aprreciate good old fashioned love songs and talent

  • ya, smooth, romantic, strong voices and great arangements. Music was music. I do enjoy this little walk through the past. I remember hitchinking through a blizzard in Upper Michigan singing this song, hitting all the high notes above the sound of the wind. .

  • @monkbilliardacademy That is the cool thing about songs like this. They always seem to envoke the most unique memories don't they?

  • The song is about a guy who fantasizes about another woman whilst fucking his wife. Sorry, "making love" to his wife.

He is clearly a victim here.

  • One of my 70's favorites. This is a classic! I grew up in the 70's and I remember hearing songs like this on the radio. My parents bought me a portable white and orange record player that had a small radio. I was about 10 and I loved listening to music.
