@TrEvOrLe55555 Though they have great food there, the runway is bumpy, with a TON of little pebbles that will chip up the paint on the tail section. I would just as soon take an extra 15 minutes and go to Porterville. They have excellent food there.
I live right outside of the cafe, the house next to the store. I have only been there one time while i was a kid .. it wasn't called the Runway Cafe back then. I haven't gone there since.. not saying I'm an adult yet. Awesome video by the way, I've always wondered what Woodlake would look like from that point of view.
you flew right over the rock plant that i work at there n woodlake... great video... the runway cafe is a nice spot.... what a beutifull veiw from your plane..... great video
Frank, I've seen every video and I always look for a new one. Fly to Illinois sometime and eat at my restaurant. It'll be on the house. Keep up the good work and safe flying!
By the way this is the same person, I was on my brother's account. You could fly into Parks Downtown St. Louis Airport. It's actually in Cahokia, IL just across the river from St. Louis. My restaurant is in Belleville, IL.
Boy you wouldn't want a strong crosswind on that tiny runway! Excellent find and great video as always. I don't get to fly as often, but listening to ATC helps keep my mind in the groove.
I learn a lot from watching your videos. I have one question about losing communications with Joshua Approach. Didnt seem like you put much effort into trying to get them on the radio before going to Bakersfield Approach?
I love their biscuits and Gravy they're worth every penny!!!!!!
Takin' my little brother for his first breakfast ^-^
