  • cheap

  • I couldn't tell who was the noob.

  • player 2 sucks!!!!!! oops i mean player 2 wins!!! sike this video is pathetic both guys dont know how to do air combos or even show intense fighting

  • you both suck...

  • First player ruined it by not using the most important thing:blocking

That wasnt a cheap win, just a dumb player who didnt try blocking in any way ¬¬

  • actually, it's a little bit of both. given that the game allows you to punish people for foolish mistakes, you were using natural instincts or game mechanics. but in the losers defense, why didn't he advance guard or x factor as well? i also noticed that one was a fighter and the other a rookie......regardless, you both suck.....especially compared to what i've seen, done and been subjected too.

  • I have no idea why you didn't just advance guard those last two hypers.

  • Well considering the fact that this vid was created about two weeks after game released, i would say their being terrible at it is understandable, but that "Cheap win" is extremely easy to dodge.

  • a fucking cheap win

  • CHEAP AS HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm with Reon1978. Unless you used some sort of exploit like an infinite loop or something, everything is legitimate. There were a LOT of things the other player could have done to avoid or counter your "spam".

  • advance guard...

  • their own fault for not blocking those last two

  • could have dodged and punished.

  • nothing cheap about that match and it wasn't desperate, the opposite team could of easily jumped over the attack and punish the move, but they just stood there and try to block it; a legitimate win x3

  • When everything else fails:SPAAAAAAAAM!!!

  • its frustrating but it isnt cheap the chunli player was going apeshit with that kick. could of triple jump with Chunli or superjump. Cheap is running away and spamming with both assist and point character like Unibeam and Neutralize

  • Advanced Guard exists. Wolverine can drill claw over it. Chun Li can just triple jump then air dash over. Regardless, you both were terrible.

  • I'll be honest I call both wins legit I mean he messed up and let you get in an favorable position the first time and the second you was able to put yourself in a favorable outcome.

  • I don't man. I think that this guy didn't know a damn thing about superjumping over supers XD

  • They were both imbeciles.

  • send this to maximilian

  • @UltimaBrawler

    3. A single match does not determine a player's skill anyways. He could have tried to snap back and kill Ryu. Along with other ways of avoiding defeat. Whether you play the best you possibly can to win is up to you, not the other player.

  • The game lets you do it, therefore it is acceptable.

  • @UltimaBrawler

Oh, you actually wanted people to comment on your video.

    I'll say 3 things:

    1. The term "cheap" is a cancer among fighting gamers. Some things are broken, but to call everything cheap just cause it's good (you know, like dragon punches) is scrubby.

    2. With that said, some things are broken. It can be argued that x-factor is an op, mainstream-satisfying revenge mechanic. If so, the game is to blame, not your using it (unless it's near universally accepted, like sfii akuma)

  • If you're down to the last character and you need a way to win fast, then sure. It's legit. But if you're doing it just because you can, then it kinda takes the fun away on both sides. Opponent gets annoyed cuz he doesn't know what to do, or you're not getting the challenge you want. Also the taunting isn't exactly necessary at the end. No need to rub it in people's faces when you win. The fact alone that you won actually speaks for itself. But that's just my opinion..

  • If I was in that postition I would have done the same... (the only difference is I would have used Iron Man because Iron Man is awesome)

  • The fact that you can see all that coming, and did nothing to prevent it but just block? Justified win in my opinion.

  • if u advanced guard, u would have won

  • How do super jump?

  • @Kitchinsink3 down up fast.

  • dude, i'm no pro but that was a sad game

  • Considering he was pretty much doing nothing but Chun-Li's rapid kicking attack (which I'm sure has a name but I don't know it) for the first round, he shouldn't be complaining about being cheap.

  • Serves you right using wolverine and akuma that's what you get.

  • I think that idea of using the same move over and over again in fighting games has always been cheap. The argument has always been that it's not cheap because it's avoidable which is utterly ridiculous. A similar argument would never fly if you were talking about something like say credit card debt or anything else in life that matters... Anyway, I would only argue that the attacks are more powerful than they should be.

  • @GreasemonkeyCGI

If a move is overpowered, it's overpowered regardless of whether or not it's used over and over again (exception: a move's repetition creates a lock, and you want to complain about the entire sequence).

  • @GreasemonkeyCGI

The credit card debt analogy does not apply here (and actually I don't get what it means either, what makes the debt "cheap"). So what you should professing, which it seems like you do, is that certain moves are overpowered. Redundancy isn't a factor. Hell redundancy actually makes you more vulnerable.

Course, op/cheap/broken are overused, but that's another issue...

  • @silversquall I am only arguing that certain special moves take too much hp, especially on block. The credit card analogy only shows that something can be cheap despite the fact that it is avoidable.

  • @GreasemonkeyCGI

Again, to clarify, that a move can be too overpowered has nothing to do with redundancy. You seemed to know this, but your first line in your comment is "I think that idea of using the same move over and over again in fighting games has always been cheap" which has nothing to do with overpowered damage output.

If a move is "too" strong, it's "broken" even if you use it once.

(lol I don't see how credit card debt is "cheap".)

  • Hey I got a great idea, let's make a game that could b pretty fucking fun and lets put x-factor in it. X-Factor helping Weak players ever since.

  • Why did both players have to be so awful?

  • It's cheap only wusses use it in order to win Ryu should be banned from tourtments for this alone in ultimate they made it worse giving him invisible hadoukens and allowing him to beam up.

  • player 2 wins.... oops...PLAYER 2 FUCKIN SUCKS!!!!

  • Seems legit to me. Hurts watching a team get utterly pwned by one character...

  • Comment removed

  • wow dude your so bad

  • Yeah...one, if you're opponent is getting hit by random Ultras, and etc, they're just bad. But at the same time, if you play anyone with HALF a fucking brain, random supers don't work. At all.

  • The guy wants to be a dick and taunt when he has the lead? Dumb shit deserved to lose.

  • I thought it was funny. I say not cheap, because if you hadn't done all that damage to him already, he might have won.

  • legitimate!

  • Can we just agree that both of you suck?

  • @Sh0ryuRepp4 i second tht

  • I sure hope you guys improved over the months.

  • clearly superior tactics. Does nobody know about keep away, chip damage, hyper jumping and using teleport characters?

  • @Idnesra Teleporters are seen as cheapshit.

  • beast

  • that was so cheap you don't even need coupons

  • HADOOOOOKEEEEEEEEEEN

  • Thats alot of chi blast >_<

  • both of u guys are soooooo bad

  • CHEAP ASS WIN.

he had you, and you just fucking shinku hadokend spamed him to death.

that was no last resort. that was a fucking joke.

  • @spacepimpkevin If you were at Evo and you were given the choice to chip your opponent to death, would you do it?

  • @blokeroy no, because i know if i tried that shit i probably would have my ass handed to me. i doubt people at evo are that stupid to waste their x factor that early. so the chip damage would be useless if my opponent had x factor. a cheap win.

  • @spacepimpkevin

Marn does. He does early X-factor Zero.

As far as I'm concerned, Akuma survived three while blocking, and he's not exactly a tank. Chun Li and Wolverine actually got hit without it being chip-damage. That puts the fuck-up directly on a lack of blocking, especially when you failed to keep in mind the near-instant speed of the Shinku...and you're a full screen away.

Its not very "legitimate" in a tournament sense. But in casual matches, hey, whatever works.

  • hehe .. good you kicked that guy ass

  • the kid playing ryu is a fucking beaner who cant play. delete this video man.

  • Fucking LOL at this video, and yes, I see the date it was released.

  • IS THAT IT?

  • Feels like im playing Street fighter IV

  • eh....I would of done the same, I mean you have a super for a reason

  • Considering that there are other hyper combos that can be activated which can go through the beam super and that the guy who lost could activate his own x-factor and take no chip damage. I don't see a problem with it.

I saw nothing cheap, just a lot of dropped combos, mistakes and missed opportunities.

  • @reon1978 I also saw mid-match taunting as if he had it in the bag. If he's that stupid to mock you like that, then his loss, however it may have happened, is well deserved.

  • LOL he saved up his meter for a reason, How is cheap the ooposite of legitimate?

Just because it's a very good idea like that, how is that not legitimate?

(Not asking about how cheap it is)

  • Wow they suck balls

  • both, cheap cause you relied on one move, but the opponent did not even try to counter something so easy to counter

  • akuma had a hit on him and couldnt convert it to damage? he doesnt know how to superjump? its more the players fault in this one

  • Legitimate win! he beat you twice!!! LOSER~

  • @BooMchanify Read the description. He was the winner asking if it's legit that he won solely because of X-Factor's power.

  • @BooMchanify he won..... the guy posting is doing the cheapness lols

  • This game is fucken trash

  • Well he did save the special up so..........

  • I haven't even played MvC3 and I know that combo

    A) Was beyond cheap

    B) Took no skill

  • @beserkmaster it wasnt cheap because these players are ass

  • someone's never heard of advance guarding

  • way to use one of your trademark attacks :)

  • Omg i would own u two together. Hands tied. Blind lol

  • bad players are bad.

  • Why didn't you block?

  • totally fair the other guy was such a dumbass not to defend those other two specials

  • people pay attention to the date it was before all the advance tactics you see now were even developed.

  • You know, it's one thing that you're utterly terrible at MvC3... it's another that you're such a whiny scrub that you complain about "cheapness" when you get beaten by very easily countered tactics.

  • @OneWinged4ngel How is that if Ryu can do it in the air aswell? Keep in mind that all this was CHIP damage and not even a real hit.

  • Comment removed

  • @KayoteThunder If you can't deal with spam, you don't know how to play. Simple as that. Making accusations of "cheapness" simply because you are so bad at the game you can't deal with one basic staple move only proves that you are one serious scrub, mate.

Personally, I always think "free combo" when someone tries to spam hypers at me. All of my team can easily punish beam spam.

  • @OneWinged4ngel I am bad at the game? Wow dude you are a douche bag accusing somebody of "having little girl tantrums" and being bad at a game just because they pointed out a flaw in a game.

  • @KayoteThunder If you want to complain about flaws in the game, there are plenty to go around, but the video poster's inability to deal with hyper spam is not one of them.

  • @OneWinged4ngel An overpowered special is a flaw in the game, a broken game mechanic x factor is a flaw in the game. A fighting game that rewards people for spamming rather than skill is a flaw in itself. I never threw a little girl tantum I just stated my opinion about the tactics that the player used, that is what the comment sections are for by the way in case your head is to high in the clouds for you to realize that. Then you imply that I am bad at the game because you disagree with me?

  • @OneWinged4ngel Uhh, dude...

Read the description, the poster was the guy 'spamming'. :]

  • @MrPheonix47 My mistake, then.

  • @KayoteThunder Incidentally, many other characters can do aerial hypers too, and many hypers have much better chip than Ryu. Not that that's terribly relevant, because what you should be doing is learning how to punish moves. You also should be doing Advancing Guard to reduce chip / stun. If you spent less time having little girl tantrums about imagined cheapness and learned how to play properly, then I can assure you you'd do a lot better.

  • @OneWinged4ngel Little girl tantrums? Where the fuck do you get off of accusing me of little girl tantrums just because I initiated a conversation with toy? How to play properly? Those are a lot of ASSumptions man.

  • @KayoteThunder I get off at the point where you throw a little girl tantrum. You have not found a flaw in the game, you are blaming others for your own ignorance about how to deal with beam supers.

  • wow both suck as much as i hate spaming if ur good u'll find a way around it. besides there both spamers so they both suck.

  • Must be the first time these guys play... well, that's what I'd like to think.

  • while I respect the tactic and appreciate the whole "that's what you save meter for", I personally count that as cheap, especially as someone who uses Ryu alot and works hard to get that slow ass in to inflict damage the old fasioned way: COMBOS!! Having said that, in the situation he found himself in, how else was he to kill all 3 characters? I thought in the second game Akuma would throw the whole Beam Spam back in Zero's face, guess he was either to proud, or just didn't think of it.

  • I think it's legit. I mean, that's an occasion you save supers for, right?? ^^

  • YO WHO CHOSE CHUN-LI

  • Everyone wants to play with the best characters in the game and ignore all the 3rd rate characters. Pretty sad. I mean probably 7/10 of ppl know who the fuck Tron or Dormammu is from.

  • >People hating on this video

The game hadn't even been out for a month! Sure, they weren't that great, but that was the typical skill level of most people at the time. Especially a lot of people hating on this video, I can assume. <.<

  • Hey guys, it's just two beginners fighting. Y'all would hate fighting me.

  • @Dorda098 Free as Free Bird. All ten or so minutes.

  • well considering the circumstances, he would have had no chance of winning up close so what else could he have done? LOL

  • Forget about tactics beign cheap or not cheap, play to win.

  • damn... that was terrible.. you're terrible!

  • 1. You both pretty much suck. I could probably beat either of you.

    2. Tron Bonne is for cheap combo whores, so don't be surprised.

    3. Ryu has the strongest super fireball in the game, obviously.

    4. You're bad at using Akuma, he's bad at using Zero.

Overall, I just saw two amateurs going at it. I'm by no means 'Pro', but even I could see that you let those matches get away from you, and you got punished for it. I can show you how to exploit Zero and Akuma's true cheapness, but I usually don't.

  • @TheDastard Hey. What's cheap about Tron? I use Tron as my point character, and there's nothing cheap about her that I can see. Her j. H is good and her gustaff fire assist is one of the best assists in the game.

Maybe I'm just blinded by her being my main squeeze, but let me know what is cheap about Tron Bonne, please.

  • @wiggi0620 the cheap part about her is her assist, nothing more, her assist is COMPLETELY invincible. you can spam it till doomsday and doing anything other than blocking equals death while she is out as an assist... thats why she's cheap.. she wont be by ultimate MVC3

  • @Magnaliscous Oh. Yea. I knew her assist was cheap. :P

I think everyone knows that. I personally think Haggar's is more annoying than Tron's. But thats just imo. I'm not sad her assist is getting nerfed. I think it'll be good for the metagame. Instead of people picking her up just for her assist, they'll actually learn how to use her. Like me. :D

  • @wiggi062 well other than her assist her jumping heavy was.. well is was pretty fricking awesome... but at least now i wont see annoying tron assist spammers after ultimate.

  • @Magnaliscous Yea. That's one thing I AM sad about. Her j. H was so good for starting combos. I'm really bummed that it's getting taken out. But I'll still be able to s jump, air dash, j H, land bonne strike, and still get a good combo off of it I think. I don't know. :P If gustaff fire assist sucks too much I'm switching her assist to bonne strike too.

  • @wiggi0620 idk i dont play her.... personaly im glad for the nerfs... she had some crazy combos and stupid infinites... wish they did that for wesker and others :s

  • @Magnaliscous See. People are talking about Tron's infintes. She had 1 infinite when the game first came out, but they patched it. I'm pretty sure that she has no infinites right now.

  • @wiggi0620 guess we will find out when ultimate comes out mate

  • @Magnaliscous Oh shit. I just found a video that shows she has another infinite. :o

The video came out 2 days ago. So it was just recently discovered. That's crazy.

  • @wiggi0620 lol

  • @wiggi0620

Tron literally has no legit infinites. The only two infinites she ever had was the one if you get JUST lucky enough to catch someone's assist slippin and just spam bonne strike, which is RARE. Total luck. And the other was just a "proof of concept" that you could repeatedly stun an enemy with her lockon pistol, which has no practical value and is impossible for most players (1-frame links).

  • @CypressDahlia "No legit infinites"

Not true. This was just recently discovered.

    Look up this video.

"MVC3: Tron's TK Bonne Strike Infinite by GimR" on VideoGameBootCamp's channel

No joke, this is a legit infinite. I've been able to get 6 full reps.... I lost it because I am not good enough to do it forever. But it IS an infinite.

  • @wiggi0620

Oh shit. That's new. Sorry, then, I guess I was wrong. I mean it came out like 5 days ago so I wasn't aware.

  • @CypressDahlia No worries, dude. I just found it a couple of days ago, myself. :P

  • @Magnaliscous

If you don't play her how can you say her assist is so great? People talk up Tron because Justin Wong is so good with her, in truth she is like a C-tier character at best. Extremely low hit priority, frame disadvantage on everything on block, high recovery frames, slow moves, barely any mixups or combo options, no OTGs aside from the crappy boulder, extremely readable and no real cross-ups, SUPER high proration on most of her moves. Third-rate character, at best.

  • @CypressDahlia I FIGHT her with that assist... btw she has two OTGs... your underscoring her... good trons are hard to come by but they're all a pain in the butt.. as her assist is super spamable. and in general she seems to be rather quick for such a large character

  • Tron is extremely easy to lock down because of her severe frame disadvantage on anything, especially block. She is by no means "quick". A Tron against a half-decent Zero, Wolvie, X-23, Amaterasu, Sentinel, Felicia, Chun Li, Dante--well, just about anyone will get locked down. Again, you are just talking about assists--assists are just one aspect of a character. And please inform me of what OTG she has other than the boulder. You're just bein salty, dude.

  • @CypressDahlia as for the OTG there is a "spinning kick" thing i see her perform. ( dont play tron so i dont know what inputs) reason i put so much emphaisis on assists is because thats what most people have her for, and please show me a match between a good tron vs anyone to show me how to see how to "lock her down"

  • Ugh. The spinning kick is her crouching heavy and you need to do it to do the boulder. The boulder input is c.H -> fwd.H. So no, that is just one OTG. And I honestly can't show you a match between a good Tron player and a good anyone else player--Why? Because nobody friggin plays Tron in front on the professional circuit because she SUCKS. Even JWong doesn't play Tron in front and he has shown us that he can make just about any character seemingly OP.

  • @CypressDahlia I've seen both done without the other.. and i agree that not many people try to use tron...

  • @CypressDahlia and the "Bonne strike" seems to her across the screen pretty fast

  • @TheDastard Look at the date you shit head. -__-

  • This match makes the MvC3 player inside me hurt.

  • Want dip for those chips?

  • Do the words "Advancing Guard" mean anything to you guys?

  • Comment removed

  • Not cheap, not legitimate.

Example of how broken X-factor is, even on average level play. Also, what were you doing, Chun Li has a triple jump.... you coulda saved yourself and left him with no meter.

  • @CypressDahlia He was the ryu.... but its not x-factor, its the terrible blocking and mobility

  • @garchomp101

Mobility is not an issue in this game. A lot of characters have double jumps and everyone has a super jump, air dash and advancing guard. Heck even the "heavy" characters are very fast (which is why Hulk is so OP, fast+hyper armor). But oh, he was the Ryu? Thanks for pointing that out my bad.

  • @CypressDahlia im= meant the other did not know what he/she was doing

  • legitimate last resort..

    good call..

    now i've learnt something new..

    ;)

  • dropped combos by both, empty tags terrible lol...that zeros garbage too

  • I don't believe in ragequitting, but I don't believe in cheap wins either.

  • Fails on hypers on your part, but yea, projectile spammer.

  • What kind of idiot falls lets that shit happen?

    Both of you are garbage.

  • LOLOLOLOOOL

  • What did you think would happen you played online

  • Don't you know that MVC has always been ALL ABOUT cheap attacks, infinites and general brokenness?

  • @littlevenemousdragon

Very sad, but also very true.

  • very cheap win indeed both player 1 and 2 are newbies and need to go back to the danger room or extensive combat training

  • no such thing as a cheap win. if you know the game you should have expected it and took precautionary actions

  • Noons,..me and my homeboy Dante could take all six of them character apaming and shit Dante is the specialist on that bullshit ......and we have the same name

  • Yeah its a legit win. You need to try learning more advanced combos, and block a bit better. But you'll get better as it goes on. I tend to use super jumps if the other player spams fire balls.

  • Legit...

  • Both these guys free as hell

  • @UltraTien look at the date it was posted. LOL about 2 weeks after release.

hope that have got better since then.

  • last resort

  • man i wish mvc3 was played like this

old fashion street fighter right here いま にじでか

  • It's so easy to get past that u faced a sucky ass noob I would've seen it coming n win b4 the 2cd came out so this win goes to u it ain't cheap

  • @xDaBeginninGx The point of my comment wasn't to be a troll it was to state my opinion about some characters that I said plainly that I like but think are cheap. So im not the troll here, and if you want me to explain why I think they're cheap I'll gladly do so.

  • Who really cares ppl can play how they want and anyways you wouldve done what ever too win its not cheap its playing smart?

  • I like Ryu and all but I don't use him often online because he's a cheap character. I mean seriously without X factor he can take down so much health in one combo and as we all just saw when he uses X factor he is almost un beatable. But really I think all the street fighter characters except C. Viper are cheap.

  • @Randomguy391 at least be a better troll
