im getting a alfa romeo 147 2.0L selle sport for a straight trade for my 206 1.1 and i tock a test drive first time using a quick shift gearbox i fallen in love iv loved the look of alfa for a while and the drive was comfortable 1 thing thats nagging me is i want see the same amount of money back if i sell it than i would with the Peugeot
Q2 is on the alfa 147 restyiling , no on 147 GTA, 147GTA is not restyiling version, is the first version ! Volkswagen golf R32 is the best , for the handling and for the quality of the materials of interiors! GOLF HAS GOT 4MOTION! ALL WHEEL DRIVE!
the R32 is a much better car all around, with the awd system, and the 3.2 motor, and six speed, its just a nicer, better car than the alfa. not to mention it sound great!
I think he was fair. Standard those shortcomings are very obvious. Q2 is a fairly recent modification but does not undo the wobbly chassis and vague steering. Only point to note is he tested it on a track which amplifies these problems. On the road the gap between the Alfa, Golf and Focus will be much closer.

I think Clarkson doesn´t do justice to the Alfa. This car handles really well with the Q2 diff fitted and all in all, this design, the engine power delivery, the quick steering, good roll control, the gearbox, how it brakes and this wonderful engine noise make up an awesome driving experience. Maybe it´s not the best tool for the track, but in real live this car has certainly a lot to tell. I love it.
