is this a sabbath song? NO so why are you comparing Dio to Ozzy? 2 different bands would you not listen to one song Dio did with Sabbath because Ozzy was there origanal singer? I am glad to have albums by Sabbath with both singers, and yes Ozzy's solo career did much better but who are you to judge ? it is all great music if you dont like the dio stuff then dont listen ....simple...

Some of us who missed that boat dearly wish for a different outcome.Thankfully his music lives on as a testimony of what reached above the bar then....and even now in my humble opinion.This song in particular is an excellent example of the phenomonon that was Ozzy and Randy...I can only imagine Ozzy giving Randy words and an idea for a theme and Randy cranking out this as the answer.even today-wow!wonder what Randy would be cranking out today

@161023 I totally agree with that. Ozzy got famous because of his guitarists. Still, I think it's Ozzy's unique voice that made him popular. I agree he's really not that great of a singer, but the fact that he is so unique and basically sings in his own octave makes the illusion that he's better. Plus his voice sounds really cool. Ronnie James is a good singer, but I could mistake his music and singing for Iron Maiden or some 1 hit hair metal wonder
Yeah Ozzy has a great voice for this kind of music. I can't get enough of it. He may not be some big talented musician or anything but he's a very interesting / crazy person and his voice is perfect for this stuff, plus a lot of his songs kind of go with his personality like Diary of a Madman, it's kind of like he really is singing about himself.
@funkberto - for all that I'm a bigger Floyd fan than I am an Ozzy fan (much as I like Ozzy's music), I would actually opine that this is better than Brain Damage. I've never quite understood the hype around Dark Side of the Moon - I've always preferred The Wall and Wish You Were Here by far. Off-topic, I know! Back to Ozzy...
