Because of Pastor Wilkerson I understood and believed in the Lord in a way no other pastor was able to teach me. I attended his church every sunday for years and I live in CT! I was heart broken not that he died but how he died. I had an admiration for this man of God like no other and he will be missed more than I can say. Times Square Church was his vision and i pray that Pastor Carter continue to lead it in the direction that God had wanted it to go. Times Square Church change my life.

David Wilkerson speak in Toronto back in the '80's when he approached the pulpit to speak the audience applauded him....he rebuked us and said, "How dare you exalt the flesh in the Presence of the Holy God" (paraphrased) The Holy Spirit fell upon all and David spoke with authority and power of the Holy God he lifted up

Pastor Dave was such a trooper. He did so much for God on his time on earth. I cried during this sermon. I go to freedom chapel AOG, and I met David's brother Don who is another very nice caring man of God. I still have to call the family to let them know I have been praying for them. I love david's sermons. i have been to times square church once in 1999. I want to go to take pictures and videos for the church to help them somehow. being used in ministry is so important for young men.

My heart wrenched when i heard the news of Davi'ds passing. He was one of my spiritual fathers. I attended his small church in Van, Texas in the middle 80s. Brother David, what an excellent tribute to our beloved David Wilkerson. Many years ago, a friend's husband pulled over to see what was going on in a crowd on a city street. There was a young man preaching. After he was done, he came to my friend's husband, and handed him 10.00, and said the Lord told him he needed it. I will never forget hearing this testimony, and it goes on and on.

David Wilkerson has touched my life in many ways. He is a man of Integrity and Inspiration. He is a template, like Christ, a pattern to follow. I first heard of him in the 70's when I saw "The Cross and the Switchblade." His books are excellent reading, "The Vision" showed that he was a True Prophet of the living God (YHVH), and that which has not yet come to pass that he foretold, it will happen. He is with other great men of God like Paul, Peter, and others, but mainly - He is with Jesus.

Thanks brother for posting this ..I know that you must love brother Wilkerson very much ..as so do many people from all over the world ... It saddens me that he is gone, I mean Im so happy that he is walking and talking to our Jesus ...but it saddens me that this world is waaaaayyyy worse off without him here to preach Christ the way that he did ."..no compromise " ...there are NO MORE preachers left like him ...and if their is where are they?

David Wilkerson was a man of God who didn't back away from teaching the Gospel like so many people do today, to make it easier or to increase the number of people in their church. I remember one of David Wilkerson's sermons I heard called, A Call To Anguish, and I could tell by his preaching the burden that he had for the way the church is in America; more conformed to the culture than to Christ.

Watching this made me cry. David Wilkerson truly lived his life for the glory of God.He gave his whole life to help others to know Jesus Christ and teach God's word in fullness and truth.
