no, hand building and hand painting each one of these pedals and what it does all add up. the quality is amazing for thoes that are into it, the warm analog sound. i do own an rc2 but thats because i dont have the money for something like this, im getting an ooh wah.

oh and by the way if you dont like the price of these new, they go for over a hundred less used on ebay and they include the lifetime warranty, theres a lo-fi at 225 on ebay and im getting my ooh wah on ebay as well. the interwebs are a very resourceful place to get things cheaper.
I like the pedal a lot but its somewhat useless and a bit impractical for a live setting. It should at least have some sort of seamless recording loop feature thing so you can use it in a rhythmic setting.
The Loop Junky is not really meant to do what the RC-20 or RC-50 does. Z-Vex pedals are "quirky" and you have to like that sort of thing in order to get into them.
