  • I heard that this ride has lapbars instead of the over the shoulder bars, is it safe when you go upside-down? Please reply, I've been dying to go on this :)

  • @Believer906 Yes. It's been like that for nearly 35 years, so yeah, it's safe.

  • 1:06 Something about the train sounds just..... a bit off. I can't quite put my finger on it, but that sound to me.... Idunno.

  • @RocketRodder It does sound a little different huh? :o It doesn't sound dull anymore, it sounds like metal?

  • Long line

  • My mom rode this when she was a kid! :D

  • There use to be one at King's Dominion then that went to Jolly Roger in Maryland and then it went to Alton Towers and now is in Brazil. I also love it how this coaster is named after a type of diarrhea XD

  • @TheSupersonicmadness It's not named after a type of diarrhea. Any amusement park company with sense would know better than to do that; that would simply put off visitors, which would screw the park into nothingness.

  • @nintendork2001 Montezooma's Revenge is a nickname for travellers diarrhea, but I'm sure most of the general public wouldn't even know that ;)

  • Sit in the back seat :p So fun.

  • I remember how on rainy days it use to get almost to the very top, we thought that was soo cool back then lol

  • always wanted to go on this!!!

  • Woah, not that secure seats, huh?

  • @luriemu1 it is lap bars. that is all the ride needs.

  • @luriemu1 I think no Schwarzkopf-Loopink-Coaster has thoose. Nessie @ Hansa-Park(Germany) hasnt thoose secure seats too^^

  • one has a flywheel lauch and the other a dropweight ?

  • @dorplein62 @Phailsku Yes, Greased Lightnin. uses a weight drop launch & this one has a flywheel launch system.

  • @wwwCOASTERFORCEcom can you tell me how this launches work

  • @ttam23ps3 Simply put - a large wheel is spun at high speeds, which is attached to a cable that propels the train forward when the clutch is released.

  • @wwwCOASTERFORCEcom

do you have a video of it on ride?

  • @boxerpupz We posted the on-ride POV video of the coaster on this channel quite some time ago. /watch?v=yZPhWV35tWc

  • Montezumas revenge launches with a flywheel instead of a weight drop system?

  • what is the difference?
