ok tis is wat apened the ground was it near the light the lighnin hit the ground and went to the pole because it was metal and the pole heated up burned the grass around it and this happened withen a second but good job catching the strike right place right time

Too bad it's nowhere near the street lamp. The lights would've gone out. And the thunder would've happened simultaneously. And there would have been a shockwave to your camera.. and *sigh* why do so many people get this wrong? Experience a real close strike sometime. You'll know what I mean then.
