    Actually no he raced a fully built twin t57 cobra before he sold it and they were good races...the evo was on a bigger turbo and made north of 900awhp.

  • Ummm...cobras only come stock with 320hp dumb dick. The evo is 286. That particular evo is over 600 to the wheels. and mrflash03...you do know that AWD is a huge disadvantage on the freeway right.

  • Yes I do know AWD is a disadvantage from a high speed roll. That is why this EVO has Active Yaw Controll, this not only splits tq acrost the axle but uses the AWD when it is needed and goes the 2WD when it is not needed. The 03-04 Cobra is 430 stock, NOT 320, or 390.

    Yes, because it sapps more power. But the 600hp is measured at the wheels for both cars meaning the loss has already been factored out. The EVO is making more power at the crank to get the same at the wheels.

  • Actually a stock Cobra is 430 whp, not 390. And with that big power advantage it is only 1 tenth quicker in the 1/4 mile than the EVO MR. According to 2004 Road and Track. So stock vs stock the cobra is only slightly faster in a straight line but on a road course the EVO out brakes and out corners the Cobra by hudge margins.
