I can understand that if you don't know Buika's voice yet and you hear it on here for the first time, that you won't fall in love with it as I did with Mi Niña Lola some years ago when I first heard her. In fact, you might not even appreciate her, as I gather from some of the comments.

Frankly, I know quite a lot of her songs and I don't think that this genre suits her at all. She definitely sounds better in her Spanish songs, or the more upbeat ones.

@hsal20 if you think that Concha's latest cd is based on mexican ranchero music means that you are not a musician.

Concha's style is based on Flamenco, sometimes mixed with jazz or cuban music. She is an excellent artist, not just a professional singer and I suggest you to study flamenco music...it's a great way to expand your poor knowledge of music.

Man!! if you're so negative in life is up to you... you're so free to spread your negativity and be happy of doing it... but don't try to convince me that Buika is bad just because you didn't like her last album with Maricahi influence... neither do I... but I admire Buika because I know pretty much of her effort througout this music career... I'm an artist too and I know how difficult is to keep on fighting... Buika is good and I wish there are ore Buikas than Britneys... period!

@masterkid4u Man I just think Buika is classic! I LOVE her voice! I discovered her on NPR.(Dallas) . I have been hooked ever since. Im a singer myself.

Anyway I think this woman is a great musician and is the find of the year to me.

@hsal20 well man... what can I say? I won't try to convince you that she's good... It's not the first time that I've been told about Buika is not a good singer, for me she is great actually, and that's enough for me. If you don't enjoy her voice is very respectable... that's the beauty of arts... what is beautiful for someone can be ugly to others... and that's a story that will never end. What I can tell you is that this channel is for people who enjoys her and you won't change their minds!LOL

Relax man, relax and enjoy the music... I know about jazz man... more than what you think... she's great because she's original and soulful... she's not a jazz singer, that's a fact , but she goes beyond that because she's versatile and wide in her inspiration and interpretation, singing jazz is not emulating Sara Vaughan or Carmen McRae or whover you wish, the worst thing an artist can do is to be someone's copy cat, that's cheap and stupid. If you don't like Concha is OK, enjoy life anyway!
